I'll start it off.
My opinion is that 31-35 level for thes ES, posted on the 1st Jan., is even more worth attention given the structure of the correction, especially potential 3Ds into this area.

Like I said how many years ago? No, it isn't in the history books yet, and may never be, but I think it is more likely than that the sun will rise tomorrow.

Fed is starting the prep work to 'pull back' on rate rises, and eventually re-initiate moar QE. As we all expected.

No posts on a day like today? Okay, I'll sum it up, and leave it at that. So, I was all hot for the short side. As everyone knows, or should know, on an ES trade I almost never sit through big reports or Fed meetings, with the jobs report the #1 report I won't sit through. A possible exception might be if I had a lot of cushion in the trade, was fairly confident the report would be a non-event (something that hasn't been the case for quite some time now), and I saw a lot more potential in the trade. Even then I'd try to avoid doing it. Hence the plan here would be close out the short (which, BTW, moved 12.25 points high to low, way more than enough for a solid trade for my style), then look to re-short after the expected ridiculous reaction. Today was classic.

Not only that, the reaction completed the same fractal I mentioned in one of my long posts, and the sell down did the same fractal! That fractal is 'in' right now, like roofer used to talk about how 4PT's would be 'in' for awhile, then disappear, only to reappear again. This fractal is all the rage now. Very cool. Anyway, that was a nice, easy to manage and stay with (in my opinion) 30+ point drop. And note that I am not saying 30+ to indicate it was a little over 30, and I might say 30, or 30- in the next post. No, 20+, 30+, and 40+ is a 'thing'. They like those numbers, but for some reason the machines are programmed to exceed them by a little bit. Maybe because people are looking at the round number, I don't know...

Yes, the bias is long here for a move into the close. And yes, now may be the time. I am not expecting much, but it is solidly on the table, so with good positioning, it's a nice potential play, in my opinion.

Now, I don't know if they can do it today, or want to, or may wait for Sunday night, but I do know that 58 area is a magnet, and it wants it real bad. That doesn't mean it will get it, heck, it may not see 58 for ten years (literally), but I can tell they feel an urgency to get there.

49-50ish is big, and an ABCD, so we'll see, but I think it wants to at least try for that 58 area. Make it all back, so to speak.

Hmmm, it sees the early ABCD area, and is reacting vigorously. Shakeout, or the real deal? I'm ready for hardcore downside to resume, so it won't break my heart if this long doesn't play out any more, especially after a morning like we had. I just want this thing to crater like the moon.

So, although that was a bearish ABCD there, it looks even more like a take it out of the range stop run than anything else, and right back to the chop range. Just look on a 1-min and look at the range there. Just some machine games since nothing has really happened all day since the 'big sell' in the AM. Hopefully they'll try a fast down sweep now as the week winds down.

C'mon, crush it into oblivion and a new LOD in the after-cash. Give it to me, baby. Not high odds, but certainly possible.

Closed on the low tick for the move, a drop of 13.50 points. Not bad.
