Just woke up in time to see this long just smokin' out of the hole. I wonder what inane report kicked this off? Greece is solved again? Chinese GDP is going to be quadruple what was expected? The US just attacked Russia? Who cares. Unless something very odd happens, I am expected new all-time highs tomorrow. I have to get back to bed, but I'd sure like to stay up and watch it happen. Thank the trading gods for the concept of trailing stops...
And yes, if was was going to fail, this 95.50 here could be it. I am not seeing it at all (failure), but who knows maybe they bring it in for better prices then take out the highs.

The volatility is outstanding today!
It's a pity I have to leave for a couple of days and come back to trading only on Monday...

MidCaps and the Russell hit new all-time highs today. The ES stopped a little bit short (so far), pushing on the slightly downsloping overhead TL. I think they'd be more prone to bringing it in a little for better prices than gunning it in the overnight, but you never know. So, later today, tomorrow, whenever, it should put in that new all-time high I expect. Crude is still soaring, and Chinese stocks look ready for the next monster leg. I'd have thought they'd drop stocks to send 'em into bonds and finish that bubble into the fall, then that pops and endless trillions go into stocks, doubling them or more. But, maybe they will just go into bonds and stocks (with what money???), and both will rise, then bonds pop and stocks explode. I can't see how they can both rise until the bond bubble pops, but maybe.

If you want to have some fun, take a look at NFLX on a 1-min with the all-sessions checked. Pretty good, eh, for a company that is still losing money? Wish I could lose money and have my net worth explode obscene amounts... But, like they said, they make it up on volume. They are adding subscribers left and right. It's the AMZN model. Lose on every sale/subscription, but increase the volume a lot, and that makes up for it. No, wait, when I 'do da maff' that means even bigger losses. But, wait, the stock price and market cap went up huge on that news. Okay, I think I see. You lose a lot more money, your market cap explodes, and hence you can cash out and make billions and billions, and then lose even more next time, more pop, more billions cashed out. I see, it does make sense (for the insiders and big players).
