After spot market clouse the Euro gave a 35 reaction off the area posted on Friday, but I would expect a little more down.
The Cable is also in a very distinctive area, defined clearly by basic KT tools.

It pushed itself to the .382/.447 confluence off the two key swing points, right where many lines converge. With only a little time left, I think that'll be it for the week. There are some very key backtest lines around 27, and it may shoot for them, but that wouldn't make sense, as that really goes over the .382/.447 confluence. It should be done. But, if that was a short-term bottom, then all 'resistance', if the machines are turned back on, will be completely disrespected. Sunday night/Monday will be very, very interesting, especially with the binding (unlike the last one) Catalonia independence vote on Sunday. The last time Spain started mobilizing tanks, and that was a non-binding vote. What happens this time?

Was that a nice read for a very short-term countertrend play, or what?

What a triumvirate we have in here. In a Jamaican accent (imitating the guy in the movie Cool Runnings) -

We got de:

One Jim, shakin' it down on the ES intraday

We got de one Rat, killin' the stocks and ETF's

And last but not least we got de one Marcin, dominating the Euro for all to see.

All discussed in advance, pretty much day in and day out. Yeah, this ain't the coolest forum ever.

Yep, the .382/.447 confluence held, as it 'should' have. All is right in the world (technically, I mean, since otherwise pretty much all is wrong...). What an amazing overnight and RTH. Huge moves, smooth trends, and just mind-numbingly technical action. Holy-frickin'-cow, for my style and this methodology, it just doesn't get any better than this. I can't get over it.

It gave back almost 3/4 of that bounce, down 10.75 points by my data off that key area. Yes, it pushed to the very high end of the area with that .382/.447 overlap off the two key swings calling to it, but it was too much for it, as I kinda suspected.

What more could you wish for? A return of roofer would round it out nicely. Anyway, it is far better to have three focused traders than a chat room full of noise. This week was another killer week, can't wait for next week ;)
