Read it or skim it, but the main idea is interesting:
"...the forced technical buying at the end of September, correctly predicted by JPM, is now gone, as "all four sectors, CTAs, Discretionary Macro hedge funds, risk parity funds and multi-asset or balanced mutual funds, are currently long equities." This means that either the corporate buybacks go into overdrive and soak up the excess risk exposure which the technical buyers have on their books, or retail investors do."

Well, if I'm understanding Armstrong correctly, there are two possibilities for the Dow. Up, and... up. One is go under last year's low and then slingshot to the upside, or base here and then doubling from there. Last year's low is like 30 points lower than the recent selloff low, so basically test under that, then explode up. Or, chop around for awhile and then double. I guess a bear market is off the table, even though this is on the high end of the longest running cyclical bulls in history. Hmmmm.

I got my wish. No heat, either, basically straight up 24 points off it. It doesn't get any better than that. The chart showing the price flow and reaction should be hanging in the Louvre.

I wouldn't risk that. Random market theory extremists would most likely try to destroy it.
