Shamazon and AZO setting new all-time highs again today, but the other key ones weakening a bit. I like to watch the high flying drivers of the market particularly closely.

Okay, this is funny. Really funny. Sometimes I come up with sayings (without telling anyone except my better half and you guys in here), and then a few months later I start to see them all over, and then they become common. Examples are O'Bummer, banksters, and Pimp-co. Yes, I really did say all those months before the very first references on any commonly read blog out there (amongst ZeroHedge type readers). I'm not looking to brag or get credit here, just explain my personal relationship with these phrases.
So, I'm watching Bloomberg and the anchor, a really nice lady I watch every day, is interviewing El-Erian, and at the end she lists his credentials. She then says former CEO of Pimpco (not Pimco). I replayed it over and over, and no way she is not saying Pimpco. I come up with something (and others follow suit), and here it is on Bloomberg, and she wasn't trying to be funny, she was very respectful of him. She must have heard it many times, and it just stuck. Too funny.

All those monster swings this AM were just incredible. I suspect the ES may just go to sleep now for the remainder of the session, or during the 'lunch hours'. You know, the ones the machines don't take (and it's all machines nowadays). We'll see.

As far as very short-term bias right now, I'm looking more up than down.

So, anyway, the blowout jobs report? Here's a factoid:
Workers 55 and over added 378,000 jobs
Males aged 25-54 lost 119,000 jobs
So, 'elderly' people had to go back to work in droves for minimum wage as greeters at Walmart and such, and men in their prime earning years got the boot in droves. Yep, that's the wonderful labor market they are all bragging on, and the reason why the Fed is now able to raise rates after all. This 'economy' is a joke.

Interesting, and scary. When the SHTF, the lack of liquidity, I think, will be the death knell for the system.
