Right at the 60-min TL right into the cash close. They do love their drama, don't they?

the market is doing a better job than usual if it can throw you off even for a minute!

I think the bias for the remainder of the session is up, with wild, chopping swings. If it gets a bid, though, it may trend, but I think the odds of that are very low.

I wish I made such bad reads as 'often' as you do.

I'd like to give it credit, but I think it's all on me. My mind is elsewhere, and it shows. I know this is kind of cocky and arrogant, but this thing just isn't good enough to fool me more often than once in a blue moon, in my I guess not so humble opinion. When I can't see this kind of stuff coming, it's surely me...

here's what I saw: key test the other day followed by two gap opens and retests in a row (friday and today). Today, gap open and run up right into the .886 at the upper tl. It's like a girl who is about to break it off running up to you at the train station and giving you a big good bye kiss before jumping onto the train. The typical trader has their head swimming with visions of new romance; meanwhile the train is pulling out of the station. The power of the retest and reversal is awesome.

That's a great analogy, rat. I am hoping against hope that your assessment is correct. Not because I don't know how to trade this if it isn't, only because I am so frickin' tired of this thing going up and listening to clueless 'bulls' jabber incessantly about things they know nothing about. I just want to be on a side I enjoy for a change. To be able to have the possibility to take a trade where I don't have to hold my nose when I do it, as roofer used to say.

True enough. the blogosphere is filled with jabber about the trend is the trend until it isn't, and the pretty bull flag on the indexes. Ha, I say.

You're welcome. I hope you can follow at least some of it. I know it's tough at first.
