Screen Capture Software

If you're a trader you often need to capture what a chart looks like and then be able to post it to a forum such as this one or email to a friend or colleague to share views and opinions.

What screen capture software do you use and recommend. I decided to start this topic after seen a posting from inventor here: Day Trading Journal where he mentioned that he uses a product called NWSnap.

A little bit of investigation lead me to this web site where you can download this free utility: MWSnap
(I have not downloaded or used this and am just going by inventor's recommendation. If you have a recommendation for any Screen Capture Software then please post the name and/or link as a reply to this topic.

Thanks!!
I have to say that I love Jing too. Before I found Jing though I found a free screenshot software that was brain dead simple to use.

Here's the site that I found it on:

He's still offering it for free.

Nice, thanks.!
Just pay for snagit. It's the best out there.
Not to reply to an old thread, but this is relevant and I've been a user of this since the early days:

...the interface is not as pretty as SnagIt, but it gets the job done and can be used to capture the screen for a variety of other purposes (also if you're playing a game on another screen while the market is slow)!
I like 'Screenshot Captor ' for getting trading charts.

It is free and done by a volunteer group , so you can
donate.

It's Called: SCREENSHOT CAPTOR

Hope this helps.
I use PicPick. Is free for non commercial users and included editor.

I have been using Full Shot screen capture software for about 5 years. It's a one step system and has a 30 day free trial. www.inbit.com is where you can go to find out all the particulars. You can capture the whole screen or just a small portion. Tech support is awesome.

Snagit is the best, bar none!
I agree Snagit from TechSmith Corp. is the best it will cost you only $30 if you say you're a student otherwise is $50

I found most of the "free" stuff comes with too many advertising and might harm your computer
i use lightshot screenshot. Its very good and very adaptable
