Marco! I was waiting for someone to start the thread, as I decided that I wouldn't do it no matter how many cool things I saw. I need to see some people taking the initiative, or I'm just not going to put out and do a one man show.

Well, by the time I posted that it had already started. The Fed minutes come out at the top of the hour, and that may get things moving. But sometimes when this thing is just asleep like it has been lately, the dumps are quick, and just reverse as soon as they catch stops and such. It's hard to say if there will be any sustain when you see it start like it just did there. Higher 'context' usually prevails. But, I'm back to thinking that intermediate top is not 100% dead yet, as the 'test' on declining volume as Marco pointed out shows the lack of conviction. They are waiting for the next Fed injection to jump on board that momentum.

Look at that Euro dump and the DX rise, on say the 1-min chart. May not last long, but it is behind the ES dump here.

Hi Jim, hope you had a nice long weekend! Just came home from work and hoped to find a new weekly thread with infos, news and
thoughts from you and the guys, but nothing :(. Nevertheless, changed the weekly thread title a little bit so more people can attend
with their infos, charts and stuff for different markets (ES, CL, NQ, YM, Stocks, Forex... whatever).
2 important news tomorrow. Retail Sales (one hour pre-market) and FED Minutes, should be enough to add fuel to the flames.

The trading action has been pretty choppy and poor, though, the last week or so, so I'm only looking at setups that are really clean, and those are not great in number lately. My mention of 75-79 is just an area where it may stall if it gets up in there, not necessarily an area I'd short against, seeing that may be a new high for the entire 'bull' market. It may roll over in here somewhere, but the way it is acting, I'd be very reluctant to play the say 3-minute timeframe short setups in here. They like to make them look good, then react them a little, then squirt them up in these low volume illiquidity traps. Point is, if the market isn't flowing and moving nicely, I get reluctant to do anything.

Well, at least we had that nice 30-min traded timeframe ABCD at the LOD today to work from, and that very odd 8 or 10-min traded timeframe ABCD at 14:10 (once you see the BC leg is a TD ABCD (look on a 3-min), you should be able to see it). And, of course, if you wanted to play that CD leg down into the LOD it gave you a perfect DB ABCD using the GLOBEX data, at 9:36 AM (look on say a 2-min). So, there were things to work with, but just not as great as we have been seeing at times.
