So, you figure when they reopen GOOG after they report today that they will open it over 600? Or maybe something conservative like 580's? And what are the odds we will hear the expression 'GOOG really knocked the cover off the ball with this one'? A million to one we will? Eventually this paradigm will break and one of them will miss and dump, but the odds favor the game being played out over and over.

And there's the close at the HOD and another new 'bull market' high. Gettin' ready for GOOG.

Anyone notice the last pullback was right to a .382 and set line, the third balanced move in a row?

Okay, early reports are GOOG beat and 'knocked the cover off the ball', and we should expect a big pop in the stock they said. But the funny part is, the stock hasn't been halted, and it's only up like 18 off that little dip before the close. 18? I expected at least 50-70. But, it's not done yet. Maybe when they start the conference call that will really rocket it up. C'mon, this market has a long ways to go. I just heard again today we are just getting started. The dollar can fall a lot more (and hence the market go up). Let's get going here.

So, IBM, they aren't liking that. I'm a huge buyer here at 123-124. It should break that closing price in minutes. Straight up. C'mon, let's go.

Now, is Jim just being an ass here? Think about my comments, think about how they sound, and think about what I am trying to convey. Try to understand the lunacy in what they are doing, but also understand the concept of trading technically and going along with their lunacy, but not buying into it, or for one second thinking what they are saying in any way represents the 'truth', or fundamental values. In other words, I'll bet all day long that people think the Emperor has the most beautiful clothes, but I know he's naked, and I know at some point some kid is going to yell out 'He's naked', and all the calls I have on how nice his clothes are will go to zero, and I want to be ready to have puts, and maybe can't if I wait too long once everyone is forced to accept he is naked. I don't play what I think, I play what I see, but I also want to know what I think, and be ready, for it almost inevitably will play out at some point, in my opinion, and usually later than sooner. Do my points lately make any more sense now?

Now, let's look at a few things. GOOG is struggling, up still 14-16 from that last little dip before the close, but for GOOG and total blowout earnings and super-great comments, it is weak. IBM set a new low for the aftermarket, and AMD, which rocketed up, gave it all back and is now down strongly (notice the bounce off the 1.272 of the aftermarket action, to the penny!) Point is, shouldn't all these be way, way, way up? Just something to consider. Super blowouts, great comments looking forward, and two are way down and the golden child of the 'bull market' is barely doing much. When this great of news can't pop them, I have to wonder...

Similar to S&P but a day later CL satisfied it's Geo's 93% rule and also "doesn't have to go up anymore":

S&P finished the day yesterday right on the 1.272 external retracement of our large ABCD after completing a nice 5 waves up from the Oct 2 bottom.
Nice spot for a reversal:
