Okay, it looks like they may want to run the market and oil some more here?

Okay, let's see if they can run this and close that gap and get to my 90-94 area. I'd be shocked if they didn't. And to get to this new HOD here they did need a bigger checkback, as suspected earlier. And how far did they check it back? .447 was at 82.75, and they dropped it to 82.50. And where was my most key lower // at that time? 82.25. Hmmmm, 82.75 and 82.25 averages to 82.50...

Watch this 1.272 here at 88.25 and see if it does anything with that.

That's pretty funny. Scott over at Harmonic Trader used to call me 'Merlin' in the old days. I like Jimadamus. But we all know it isn't about predicting. Even so, though, one has to make some assumptions about what might happen in order to form a premise, so I frequently say 'I like to use ABCD corrections with Fib and line synergy to get me on board existing trends that I think have some more room to run.' If I don't try to ascertain where I think the trend may be headed it's hard to say if I think it may have more to run. So most of my 'Jimadamus' comments are a study of past probabilities used to assess the potential the trend may have left.

So, it dropped 4.5 points now so far straight off that 1.272. And, did that comment post after it had already dropped a full point off the 1.272? Yep. But my job here isn't to point everything out in advance. If you don't know to watch a 1.272 at a division line off a .447 checkback by now, you haven't been following too closely. Some of these I point out before they hit, some right as they hit. The point is for everyone to see the repetitive nature of what I am showing.

I'm not going to read too much into this lower timeframe OpEx price action, but I will say that this is a very poor showing for the bulls in here. To get pushed back from closing that gap is very humiliating for them. But probably Sunday night they'll gap it way up and we'll be at another new 'bull market' high Monday, regardless. That's the way the manipulation game goes. But, given that we just did about the same thing on the higher timeframe up to the 1.272 of the ABCD that we just saw on the 3-minute, it wouldn't be a big surprise for it to come in here somewhat the way it did on the 3-minute.
