WOW - what a busy Saturday in the forum! Haven't seen anything like this in quite a while ... Better times for the forum coming? :-)

Here is the update of the 2 Roofer's sets in major indexes:
While DJIA has still some room left to the upside, S&P set might suggest that there is a major resistance right above. Our Friday's 1.618 DT ABCD will really have to prove itself to overcome it.

He was referring to what he already knew, and the need to know some of the newer material I had discovered, and some of the things I was willing to release that I hadn't shown yet. At some point there is enough to work on building a 'Trading Plan' from. We don't have to show any more than we have shown already. Isn't this enough for everyone?
Why show more and more, why not work with those that are interested, as they come and go, with what we have shown already? Is it because we get bored, and as we discover and refine, as you said, we keep sharp by showing stuff? I think that surely is a big reason for me, to stay sharp explaining things and so on. But, if I'd get bored just showing the core material, then I need to rethink it, because I don't want to show all super-proprietary material to all comers.

Ditto, Jim and Roofer...
Since the time I had discovered and pointed out the 'Hack-glitch' in this site, I have deleted ALL of my prior posts' charts pics that revealed some of my prop work that at first i felt safe to show, the TRS and pattern morphing concepts among some. I do not feel obligated nor do I feel the need anymore to post my most advanced latest work(and there are so many awesome stuff i've got) in this forum because of fear of misappropriation by unknown source and the thought of getting my stuff rendered useless by widespread knowledge is unbearable to me. So I'm back into my own little shell and will just limit my post to keep fresh and to provide some newer basic KT 'training' examples to help others who genuilely participate for the sake of their own trading future using the already available material in this forum and in the books. However I won't add any more 'value' to the forum by posting new ideas, concepts or techniques . I'll keep the experimental stuff private just because I've become lazy and selfish The eagerness to show my work has long been gone.I am not a published author so I have no desire for recognition or fame.My first goal or wish was to be able to collaborate with people who share the same trading methods and knowledge to work on new projects and ideas etc... but that never happened because of the lack of participation and interest in that endeavour.
. No need to explain things further on my part.
Jim, and the others who post in here with regularity have my total respect and admiration for being so persevering.
I regret that this forum has taken a path of stagnation rather than growth but mistakes are made along the way to greatness so we'll see.
I understand that not everyone is on the same level but what's the hold up for those who never post? the conspiracy theorist in me says that they are just spying on our every moves and glean every bit of new material that they can get and use it for their own agenda and never give back anything. Where is the effort to get better? All u get is silence...or they just pop up in another forum or another 'trading floor' with a corrupted version of what's been showed in here. Go figure...
My new goal and wish for this froum to stay productive and helpful without getting the prop or mentor stuff out is to discuss more of the trading psychology and the human side of the KT methods, not just trade setups. That's a big subject that would encompass many other topics from context to price action to trade management to trade execution, probabilities, instinct, discretionary approach etc u name it...It's easy to find areas i think but it's another thing on what to do with it. and how to deal with overtrading. How to deal with overanalysis as in seeing patterns that are not there making something out of nothing. How to deal with overleveraging position sizing etc ...
There are many forgotten subjects that are worthy of discussion in here but never seem to get talked about. It seems like everybody has a perfect mental aptitude, perfect emotional control so the only interest are on the setups. Setups won't make u a dime if u don't have the right mindset to follow ur plan. I'm just sayin'.
let us know what u r thinking folks

T

I must say that I saw many forums and learned a lot from different people. I do not know if this forum was hacked or not. But I never saw the work from this forum anywhere. As I said before I saw 88.6 and 94.1 Fibs before in steve copan work before I bought books from Jim. Maybe Steve got those numbers from Jim .. I do not know.
I think that in this whole thing roofer is right. He is giving his work for free even on marketgeometry forum and nobody cares. How can free work be worth anything??? I guess this is what people think. As far as advanced stuff from Tony or roofer .. people just do not get it and do not think can make use of it. People do not even understand basic work of Jim and others.
Sometimes it all sounds .... hmm .. strange. I bought the books from Jim also because of access to the forum. I thought the forum is very good and I think I was right. I really do not know why people do not participate .. I can only say about my luck of participation. First of all I am a full time trader. I am concentrated on the market all the time and simply do not have any chance to post. Even though I tried to post before and got hit by some strange comments after the posts which were not encouraging. I am thinking about starting to post charts etc even though my time limits but do not want to be forced to. From time to time I hear that maybe this forum will be closed etc ... so why bother to post?? To find out that forum will be closed in a week or so??
I hope all will stay as it is right now. And also hope people to start posting more as I want to analyse things learn from mistakes etc. So in my opinion let's not loose time on writing why we do not post. Just do something what will benefit all of us but without this "forcing stuff" :)
Regards to all ..

Yay!, a post. jarek saves the day.
I don't see this as a 'structured correction', i.e. an ABCD. Sometimes things don't correct in ABCD's. The key to being really ready for this area was the 3-4-5 ending sequence with that EXP ABCD as a 'W4', and the spike line coming right into the area. Not to mention the little TD ABCD 'W2' once it reversed (yes, I know it is outside the parameters I usually use, but the spirit of the pattern is there).
Did everyone see those retailers? Another new 'bull' market high, by a long ways. Look at $RLX, XRT, or TGT, for example. That XRT is my best 'smoker' of all. Wow-ch.

Today's HOD was at .886 (to the tick) of the whole drop and after a gap. Let's see if this pattern can play out also in ES

Thanks for sharing your thoughts in real time Roofer! Good luck with this trade if you're still in it.

Roofer, what u are alluding to with the multiple timeframes comments is that they are deliberately omitting the 'CONTEXT'?.They are just blind to the bigger picture within wich the current price action, indicators, geometry are set up?. That's a big time mistake to deny 'Context'. And Jim will tell you: quote:'without context you have nothing'...it is so true I believe.
As far as computers go with their millions of calc per nanosecond, they still can't beat a well trained human mind with anticipatory instincts, rock solid discipline and a real 'trading plan'. But these types don't come by often and the brain can only function at peak performance for just a finite period of time, unlike comps that can run forever. So I'd assume that's why only a small percentage of the trading population can consistently beat the comps at their own games. And I think those who run the comps are fine with this fact because in the long run they still take the money of the weaker minded masses anyway. So that cycle is perpetuating, making the market wheels go round and rewarding only those who work hard at their trading craft by whatever means and methods necessary.Indicators or not, whatever works is what matters.
Being consistently profitable is no easy task but feasible I think, or else I wouldn't be trading at all. How can one achieve that goal? it's like climbing Mont Everest, many try but only few make it and along the way up you just learn about your true self and deep down inside the only fight u have is with yourself not the mountain...
