I continue to believe that the move down off our big bearish Kane ABCD isn't finished yet because it hasn't reached 1.272 external retracement of that ABCD. Therefore I still look for a potential W4 correction of that move in the form of a sharp zigzag. My downsloping warning line was breached on Friday but there is a downsloping set suggesting that Friday's high could have marked the end of such zigzag. There was a clear retest of the line before the end of the session so it looks quite interesting:

something is going on.. the geometry has not changed... but the way the computers are trading it has been modified.. many instances of price turning at .886 on gap, trade showing good profit, then price coming back through .886 and trading to .94 or 1.06 and THEN going to target set by .886 on gap.

The weekly dollar chart indicates we may rest here or drop due to the 4PC but the mid 92's would be an area of the large zig zag and line and fib convergence.

Although this bounce here could be another bearish 'W2' scenario, I am also examining the possibility this may be about to head up to a bigger ABCD in the 1140+ area. It would be a highly unpreferable scenario for me, but it is something I'm watching. I just try to go with whatever it does, looking for potential opportunities as it does what it does. So, a roll in here would be technically ideal from my perspective, but the feeling they plan to manipulate this up further is pervasive.

I just wanted to toss out that potential ABCD up around 1140+, as I plan to follow it up all the way if it does unfold. And perhaps the correction is over, as every last analyst and blog says (except, of course, for the handful of perma-bears, which is always an unstated given), and it is a 'W3' up there and it keeps smokin' up. We'll see. For now, I'm seeing if it rolls at my key 'W2' area in here.

I'd say the odds are 1 in 100 million that this is going to roll down here at my key area. I hope I don't have to eat those words. It could go up a little more and do a slightly EXP ABCD and then roll, but it is acting like it wants way up. Now, that may be a dodge, to make it look that way, and the geometry prevails and down it goes. That is possible. I'm just saying the price action is screaming at the top of its lungs 'up'. I can't wait to see. The last time this happened, the geometry prevailed and it got smashed down. They do love to make it look the opposite of what is about to happen.

I think this comment is funny:

It describes my viewpoint essentially exactly. If you scroll up and look at the chart you can see why the computers had to rush the market up, as bringing down the pair wasn't in the cards right now.

traders here know i trade a stack of charts in groups of ten to look beyond the indexes to see if the parts support a bias in the market.. especially before a big report i ask the cold hard question strictly based on the geometry...'' is the geometry of sell or buy in place on the previous days close.. so that no matter how ''good or bad'' the news, the computers already know how they will react?''then i ask after the initial reaction on the open'' does any additional geometry, usually an 886 on gap at line, support a continued push all day in one direction...?''here is a glimpse of my charts... note KLAC is an old favorite of jim's... the dbs was just waiting to blast.
