Everyone read this. Then read it again. And before you quit, make it one more for good measure. Note the magazine covers. Note the AAPL hysteria. Note the sentiment indicators at extreme extremes. Note the short-interest at a decade low. And the volume at a more than decade low. The sheer giddiness. The VIX at extreme lows. Read the comments on the Barron's cover.
I mean, are they serious? And all this is happening when? Recall I said several times "When Facebook IPO's that's the signal the 'bull' is done. Just like how bulls tend to end when a new world's tallest building goes up." Well, Barron's gives us this cover right when Facebook is IPO'ing. Talk about a new world's tallest building... Folks, we may be close. Can you say 'W3' down little boys and girls? Just a thought.

Funny I was just about to post a comment about all these sentiment extremes that were mentioned at www.slopeofhope.com
Like Jim is pointing out here, all these, magazine covers, big IPO, VIX and the AAPL hysteria are all indicative of a major top just around the corner if not already.
Bears.... ready! set! go!!!

I've been waiting three long years. I hope we can actually have a bear market for awhile now. But the only way I can see this is if they want O'Bummer out. And all polls and such show O'Bummer would beat Mitt or Newt by a 'landslide' if the election was today (this was a huge surprise to me). So, I was thinking we are going to have four more years of hell (ah, it doesn't matter who gets in, it will be four more years of hell anyway), and then I thought maybe they engineer something and he doesn't get in. This could be that something.
Or, maybe it's a deep but short duration 'bear', like my scenario of down soon and then up hard into the election. I think they do want another four years of O'Bummer because he basically does everything they tell him to. Not that any other stooge doesn't act like a good puppet and do the same, but O'Bummer seems exceptionally good at going with the flow of the strings from his puppet master. So, I'm not sure how to read this one...

Price will provide all the necessary clues as things unfold, which ever way they go. All we can do is anticipate price action and make decisions with the tools and techniques Jim has so kindly provided. Price never lies even if there's manipulation galore.

Here's a must read, in my opinion, especially for PM followers. Since I think the PM's are tied directly to the currencies, and hence to the broader market, I think they are important from an intermarket dynamic perspective.

Well, I was feeling under the weather, and that's why I didn't post those days, but that wasn't related to my puking comment there. Just a coincidence.

I wrote that post as it was unusual for you not to comment for a few days but didn't refer to the one particular sentence.

You do know I meant puking from making yourself sick from the ethical dilemma of holding your nose and buying this overvalued, manipulated POS market, right?

Good to read your comments again Jim
I hope you'll get better soon

Nice day. Same old, same old for the maniacs. Nothing has changed, or likely ever will change, in the era of infinite money printing. Hey, as long as it still follow the tools, I guess you hold your nose real hard and do what you got to do... And try not to puke too much.
