Here's the question I have for you. Did most of those setups play out as expected, or fail? You might be asking too much of your entry trigger. Although confirmation (and I tend to be on the high end of confirmation scale with my triggers) is, in my opinion, a mandatory part of the process, its job is to tell you 'when' to make your play. The 'context' is the main factor for the trade, followed by the setup, and then 'finalized' by the 'when' of the entry trigger, which confirms the area is being 'seen'.

But, a great entry trigger can't be depended on to filter most poor setups, as far as 'context'. That's the job of 'context'. Don't try to make the entry trigger do more than its job. I'm not saying use low confirmation entry triggers, only that one must understand the role of the entry trigger. Going to a very high confirmation entry trigger won't save one from setups that 'context' says aren't likely viable setups.

I'm sure you are right, but 'context' has very wide meaning and using it in right way is the most difficult part of your methodology. For me it is trend (sentiment) on context timeframe and other setups which are against to my setup. But I'm sure it is not enough to have probability on my side. That's why I decided to use more confirmation from trigger.

Today I've seen nice quite big bullish ABCD (15 min) on GLOBEX (multiple lines, fibs) and it didn't work. Context teoreticaly was right, but they broke it and went to LOD. I think I don't know whole your meaning of context and that's why for me it is difficult to work with TL and bar high is trigger.

Another new decade low in non-holiday volume, after having just set one recently...

And my read, once again, is on the money. The futures reopen on news of many more European downgrades, and they dump. Not a lot so far, but enough to show the setup didn't play out.

Well, for me, I don't see the potential issue here being the trigger, I see it being in the 'context' and what room it may have left to move up. It's a great-looking setup, but it's moved up quite a bit off the LOD, and although it may have another leg to go, it's up against some solid resistance in here. I think it has a reasonable chance to move up to the level I posted earlier, but given the time of day, how much it has moved already, and the potential resistance right in here it is a tough play to initiate in here. It may play out fine, but one can't look at a single example that plays out and draw any conclusions.

Now, watch the bigger ABCD it has formed on this dump for some serious clues.

The outrageous lines there are the key factor.

Now watch what it does here, since this bounce spot is back to the downsloping key lines from today.

Can you send me a chart showing your multiple lines for that 15-min setup? And all the work you had for that?

Well, I was feeling under the weather, and that's why I didn't post those days, but that wasn't related to my puking comment there. Just a coincidence.

I wrote that post as it was unusual for you not to comment for a few days but didn't refer to the one particular sentence.

You do know I meant puking from making yourself sick from the ethical dilemma of holding your nose and buying this overvalued, manipulated POS market, right?

Good to read your comments again Jim

I hope you'll get better soon

Nice day. Same old, same old for the maniacs. Nothing has changed, or likely ever will change, in the era of infinite money printing. Hey, as long as it still follow the tools, I guess you hold your nose real hard and do what you got to do... And try not to puke too much.
