3.00 point range for about two and a half hours... Pathetic. And typical lately.

Well, first off, I'm not allowed to give anything that sounds even remotely like advice. So, I can only answer as to what I like in situations like this. Next, at this time of day the answer might be 'none' (it depends if the trade premise is for a hold into GLOBEX and maybe even into the next day, if the 'context' supports a move to new highs, and so on). The options I'd be looking at are a TL break, a bar high break, a swing trigger break, and so on. It's frequently tough to find a great trigger on the 3 or 5-min ES when the market is slow and in a tight range. The noise level is just too high for the detail I like.

Thank you. Without your level of skills and experience it is difficult to take this setup with TL break or bar high break.

Well, for me, I don't see the potential issue here being the trigger, I see it being in the 'context' and what room it may have left to move up. It's a great-looking setup, but it's moved up quite a bit off the LOD, and although it may have another leg to go, it's up against some solid resistance in here. I think it has a reasonable chance to move up to the level I posted earlier, but given the time of day, how much it has moved already, and the potential resistance right in here it is a tough play to initiate in here. It may play out fine, but one can't look at a single example that plays out and draw any conclusions.

When I used TL break or bar high break as trigger I did many false starts. I think such kind of triggers can be used only in very specific context and I decided to not use it as my level of skills is to low.

Well, I was feeling under the weather, and that's why I didn't post those days, but that wasn't related to my puking comment there. Just a coincidence.

That's what I suspected more or less from your commentary as a whole.
I wrote that post as it was unusual for you not to comment for a few days but didn't refer to the one particular sentence.

You do know I meant puking from making yourself sick from the ethical dilemma of holding your nose and buying this overvalued, manipulated POS market, right?

Good to read your comments again Jim

I hope you'll get better soon

Nice day. Same old, same old for the maniacs. Nothing has changed, or likely ever will change, in the era of infinite money printing. Hey, as long as it still follow the tools, I guess you hold your nose real hard and do what you got to do... And try not to puke too much.
