That read was dead on. It really tipped its hand when it launched off that snap fake down. Now up just a hair under 30, even better than expected. Note the big bearish flat (or slightly tilted up standard ABCD or some hybrid of that) in here now, on say higher than even a 240-min. I can't imagine, though, anything but new highs now at this point, exactly as Carl Futia says. In a money printing environment all bulls (and pretty much everyone is a bull) are all eventually right.

Anyway, notice how this went right to the low to mid-70's, as I mentioned, and did several corrections, though always looking upward and strong, and then the next leg launches right off the open, as usual when they are manipulating. Have we seen that before? Just look at last Thursday. Or last Tuesday for selling. It's the game they play.

And there goes the TL. Low to mid-70's next, then we see. Tomorrow may be an up 20+ off the low day. Heck, it's up almost 10 already.

All righty, they dropped it a full five ticks below all those lows, and then snap reversed it, as expected, and they are going ballistic on it, right off the European open. What a surprise. Now we see if they can sustain it, which is all that counts. I know they want up real, real bad, and this bigger GZ multiple test and snap trap is a great way for them to have their way. I think some up is in the cards. Let's see if my timing is as bad as last night. This time I think it is going to be golden.

AAPL up a little over 34 off its low, at its high today. That's what, about 6% off the low in a few hours, in a stock that has a market cap bigger than the entire retail sector of the entire United States combined, and is flirting back and forth with the highest market cap of any public company in the world. Nah, that's not a big deal at all...

BTW, take a look at gold on a 1-min chart for today. Stock traders can get a view with GLD. Is that one of the most insane things you have ever seen? It is for me.

They are still strong in here, about 30 points up, looking like they want another leg, or at least a grind until close. Just amazing.

Yes, Marcin, that does look possible. But, it's hard for me to think they won't hit news highs with this kind of manipulation. Then maybe the 'real' end of April/beginning of May election year manipulation starts.

The next leg has indeed started.

Let me toss a caveat out there. I am still watching for this to exhaust itself, in case, but that's 'old school' thinking. Old-fashioned, stone age thinking from a balanced market perspective. This doesn't have to exhaust because it is manipulation. There are no 'people' or 'funds' that run out of money and then want to 'take profits'. In my opinion there is little to none of that in this buying. So, it doesn't 'exhaust'.

I have rarely seen any day like this not close at a new high for the day, and then gap up a little in the aftermarket and run a bit more. It's like 99.99% of the time, in my experience. Nonetheless, I stay wary, as a throwback to the old days, of sellers coming in i.e. being ready to protect potential open profits. But, and everyone knows Jim is a big worrier, one of the biggest, I am about as worried about sellers right now as I am that an asteroid will hit my house and kill me in the next hour.

Watch this mini GZ here. I just don't trust 'em...
