I would think they would fake it down below that TL, and then up hard. That's their M.O. But, you never know...

No fake down, just the expected pop up. Under normal circumstances I'd think maybe the fake is up, and now it goes down, but when do they ever abandon a chance to run it up?

Good article, rat. Probably we should post these in the economics section. I know I started posting some in here, so it's kinda my fault. Anyway, everyone should read this.

I would not have expected the fake out to be up. This isn't to say it won't just blast up after coming back into the 'triangle' like this, but even that was highly unexpected to me. I can't see it going down now, but in a 'normal' market that's exactly what would happen in most cases, in my experience.

Recall we are sitting on a big bearish ABCD (as shown by Marcin) that completes anywhere from yesterday's high to up a bit from there, if one is bearish at this point.

They never cease to amaze me. But, I still think this will be a fake down, not a sustained move, and they'll try the upside again. I'd love to be 'wrong', and have this dump hard, but I just don't trust them when they make it seem so obvious.
