I'll start the topic for today, but I want to mention I am struggling with my health issues right now, so I may not be posting that much. We'll see.

beautiful pick up at the 1.128 dbs yesterday.....are we looking for a rocket move into .886/ 1.127 confluence at the upper line for a retest to send it down to the lower line ahead of jobs? after jobs?

the turns are getting to be very tight which has me very cautious in general looking for a potential major turn. if jim is right about the timing into the election, we just about have enough time for a down/ up move into early november..

I think this may want to try for the 'bull' market high, and as soon as possible. I'd say tomorrow is likely, or by Friday, but I think sooner. Look for the USD to get crushed (what's new), and for gold to succeed in its shot at that $1,800 mark. I can't say how much I wish that none of this happens...

Well, I expected the possibility of a much stronger ES move into new highs, but I'll have to settle for now with it getting within two points of the high (right to a key area). The Dow and the retailers did go ahead and set new highs for the 'bulls#%&' market today. Gold is struggling less that $2 from that key $1,800 level.

My read was 'okay', but the level of weakness that is hanging around surprises me. I thought it was more likely it would decisively take out the highs, then do some selling. Now the key question is, will this dip give it a launch pad for the new highs, or will the weakness be more pervasive (I sure hope so...)?
