I'll start the topic for today, but I want to mention I am struggling with my health issues right now, so I may not be posting that much. We'll see.

Well, we got within 2 points of the 'bull' market high, and I really thought they'd take it out. But, I can't say that I am not thrilled, simply thrilled, at this selling, which just keeps going and going.

And yes, short-term, it may be done in here, or nearby.

And the point of the 'nearby'? See that one last push it needed? Very short-term climax, then the nominal new low 'retest', and now it's free to bounce, setting itself up for Sunday night. But you never know, maybe that 'retest' of the high was the 'retest' of the 'bull' market final high. I can hope, can't I?

Watch 54.75 closely, in case that's the high for the bounce...

Well, I expected the possibility of a much stronger ES move into new highs, but I'll have to settle for now with it getting within two points of the high (right to a key area). The Dow and the retailers did go ahead and set new highs for the 'bulls#%&' market today. Gold is struggling less that $2 from that key $1,800 level.

My read was 'okay', but the level of weakness that is hanging around surprises me. I thought it was more likely it would decisively take out the highs, then do some selling. Now the key question is, will this dip give it a launch pad for the new highs, or will the weakness be more pervasive (I sure hope so...)?
