Inaugural post for my new, closed 'discussion' thread. I will post my levels, my thoughts on various aspects of the KT methodology, and my usual snide comments about market action. This topic is for those that want insight into my viewpoint on the KT methodology.

This is the quintessential example of roofer's 'Hold your nose and take the trade'. My viewpoint now is 'long and disgusted'. Feelin' like pukin', I hate this trade so much. Why? Well, aside from the obvious, idiotic run up on manipulation, I hate to see such a beautiful, artistic, profound area not be able to fulfill itself because of manipulation. It's just a sorrow to watch.

For example, B of A, which has been smokin' lately, is up today. Why? They 'beat' earnings estimates. See, they made 95% less than this time last year (wait, so you mean B of A got more than cut in half, didn't you, Jim?). But, alas, they expected them to make even less than that. So, they beat estimates to the upside, and I'm guessing on a percentage basis, by quite a lot. So, the stock is up.

But, wait, it's been up lately on the estimates it will make well under 95% less? Yes. And up today on only making 95% less? Yes. Okay, I see. Hence, the sorrow when this goes up past a beautiful area on manipulation. Hold the nose, take the trade, on to the next foul, stinking trade. Better get used to this, I seriously think it will never end...

Yeah, right, the ES is teasing me starting a tiny roll over off a small area here. Okay, how many ticks back will this go before it smokes up, killing all the suckers dying to short this?

Okay, it's come back in six ticks, time for it to explode up.

2.50 points back, and then it just explodes up at the close.

So, intermediate-term, it does look like 1490 is next. But can they get that close to the all-time high and not go for it? By then, many indices and sectors will already be over their all-time highs...

This might make it to 1490 with no real checkbacks. Hmmmmmm.

I'll try to make some comments later tonight. I have some thoughts on the DX and how it may relate to the market.

31.25 draws a big reaction. It seems to 'check' each level and get very weak off it (the first level was the 1.128 ABCD). It heads hard to the LOD into the cash close. Amazing. Can't say I ain't thrilled. Ooooh, as I type, it hits the LOD to the tick. Anyway, all I ask for Christmas is for this area to give way hard.
