Inaugural post for my new, closed 'discussion' thread. I will post my levels, my thoughts on various aspects of the KT methodology, and my usual snide comments about market action. This topic is for those that want insight into my viewpoint on the KT methodology.

So, look at the DX on a daily. Wow, is that sitting on support. I see two things that may happen that are interesting to me from a trading standpoint. One is that this little move off the ABCD, back to the depths of the support, will set a new low, really pushing on the support, and then it will reverse up. That implies a bit of up for the ES, then possibly down hard and for awhile. Could it do this long enough to go up until the election? Probably not.
The other scenario I am interested in is that this area holds in here and the DX reverses up, and the ES down. Given the importance of this area, if the DX reversed up (this just seems so unlikely), the ES may have some serious downside, as I just said above.
Now, perhaps this area just 'fails' and with a plunge in the DX, the ES is free to explode. Since this outcome would p#%& me off the most, it is probably the most likely. Recall my theory. Anyway, watch the currencies as well as the ES, no matter what you trade.

I'd like to think the ES is headed down a bit more in here, but that stop sweep there might be it.

Is that really all a GOOG intraday earnings release disappointment can bring about? A few ES points on the downside, coming off yet another new high for the move?

And that, with GOOG off, oh, say about 85 from its high. That puts the ES down now about 4 from the release. Sounds right. Uh-huh.

Let me rephrase that. The ES was down 3.50-4.00 when GOOG was down around -85. GOOG got halted not that long after, the ES drifted down a bit more and is back to down about 4 since right before GOOG. Not that everyone can't see that from the charts on their own. Point is, GOOG down -85 and the ES goes down 3.50-4.00 points. Really?

And there's the first initial move through it. Now we see if that's the snap trap head fake, or a real start to something nice. Probably the first. Why? My theory. It would p#%& me off the most if that was the case.

31.25 draws a big reaction. It seems to 'check' each level and get very weak off it (the first level was the 1.128 ABCD). It heads hard to the LOD into the cash close. Amazing. Can't say I ain't thrilled. Ooooh, as I type, it hits the LOD to the tick. Anyway, all I ask for Christmas is for this area to give way hard.
