Wow, hit it in price and just about perfect in time and swooooosh right through it like it wasn't even there. Now let's see if 51.25 was a stab through fake and up it goes. It's always a challenge to make sense of chop, and I only try to do it because I'm bored out of my mind.

This is rather interesting. Hard to explain, but easy to show on my charts. It's way too much for me to try to post them, though. Cleaning them up would take me a half hour... But, from here to say 50.25 (.447 at 49.75) is key, but there is something at 46.25 that looks to be calling this. That's what I am watching. This should not be this weak, though, off the key 40-42 area, so that's a warning indicator to me.

Now, I just don't get why people aren't freaking out when they see a chart like this. No, they aren't 'monetizing' the debt. No, we aren't having any failed auctions. No, we aren't having any trouble floating all this new debt. Nah. Take a guess who the mystery buyer is? Nah, my hands aren't shaking right now... I'm not scared... People should literally be crapping themselves looking at that. Literally.

BTW, the full answer isn't Bern-Qwacke, it's you and I, via our life savings and our extra payments in inflation for each and every essential thing we buy daily. Sick.

I discussed a bit of my thoughts on bonds, as well as the 10-year rate chart. I have been working with a student on the futures chart(s), and there is something big coming in on the 30-year on the weekly chart, right in here. Here's a longer-term chart I found at ZH showing the 10-year rates chart, just to see why this might be an area here. Think the Fed wants to let that line get taken out right now?

BTW, though, if money flows hard into bonds right now, what do you think will happen to stocks? Yes, this 1640 area would likely give way, 1620 will give way, and then perhaps 1580 area will require a decision. It is one possibility that neither bonds nor stocks are going to do much more, to keep rates under that line, but stocks up. Sideways rotation, back and forth, in a see-saw. Just a thought. Recall that a lot of things are going to start coming on the table in Sept.

re jim's post on ''busted trades''
back in the day when i spoke to the trader joed throughout the day he pounded the table all day one day how BMY was about to collapse based on his gann work and how he held a large put position... i shorted some shares on an uptick as you had to do back then... BMY collapsed almost 20 points the next few days... however , i was not aboard.. after the market closed my screen lit up with a noticed that my trade was busted because it had not occured on uptick, even though it had...and so it goes....

ES obvious TL from the 15-min right here at an area. I can't imagine that would turn it, it is so obvious. A little lower for the bigger inverted H&S (with a smaller one for the 'head')...

Alright, I'll finish with a little visual. Make sure you look at all the posts and the timestamps. Look on a 1-min. This chart is just a guide for what I was saying. Look at it all. They do this all the time, but especially on a Friday when it sets up like this and is dead at the times of day this was.
