This may be an intresting week. Gold made a bullish ABCD on H1, against daily bearish one, which were shown by Duane and Rat. Probably it needs one more leg up deeper into the PTA before a reversal.

As I suspected, they just have no juice left, and back into the range it goes. Just one more burst, that's all I ask... But, it is not to be, I suspect.

So, do you think that will have any effect on investment, or no? Probably no effect, even though mathematically I don't see how that can be possible. I mean, if they take 3.8% away from the pool of possible additional investment capital, then there should be a commensurate drop in purchases.

I also just realized that traders (who are doing well) are now going to be hit by O'Bummers 3.8% medicare O'Bummercare tax on trading profits. This is starting to get out of hand.

I guess the answer is there will be a drop, but it won't be perceived because the investment rate is increasing, probably rapidly. So, say the rate of investment is increasing 20% or 30% per year right now, and there is a 3.8% drag (and that 3.8% only applies to profits, not all new investment capital coming into the market), then it won't even really be noticed. The market is growing gangbusters, and that's all we'll see.

Wow, look at that snap drop and snap pop. Crazy illiquid (meaningless) action. Nothing like those 15-year volume lows. Heaven help us all if they ever stop printing money or stop the HFT's. If so, I could see the ES trading like 5 contacts in a day, with a bid/ask spread of say 20 points.

And right back up where it was. I'd say one last chance for that pop to new highs, but it's all just chop. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

They look to be taking a shot into the cash close, and maybe after-cash.

There it is! They got the highs! I knew it. By one tick, but they gunned them. Let's see if that's it, or if they now grind it to one of my levels. If not now, then later I think.
