I'll start the week out. Here's an interesting article on one of the key high fliers that I follow.

Up 4.25 off the low. Is it started? You know, the gun it down but only have one leg, it sure looks like it's in a downtrend, then destroy all the shorts game...

And the low of the day before this spectacular 14.25 point move, was 66.75. The funny thing is, to make the area easy for me to post I used the two tightest lines. I was just trying to get the general area there posted so people could do a work up. Those who have worked with me can do the next most obvious calculation (it's really, really an obvious one) and get just a fraction (way less than a tick) under 66.75. That was the core of my area, and I wish I wouldn't have cut it so tight in my post. After the fact I can't do anything right now with that as far as what I say in here (it's just after the fact rambling), but I can encourage my mentor students to look at this and they should quickly see what I'm talking about. Quite amazing.

My key area is say 55-60, but watch around 68-69. If it continues to drop below this 72.50, that is.

Bullish ABCD here, but I wouldn't be expecting it to necessarily produce a significant (or possibly even any) reaction.

And there's the obligatory snap response. 'They' are still here. Let's see if they can follow through now, or not.

So, same old same old. After umpteenth tries the area/pattern holds, and they gun it up into the cash close. In some ways I love all this insane QE trading potential, and in some ways I am so sick of it I could scream (not because it is difficult or messes with the methodology, but because I am just soooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired of seeing BS manipulation. Manipulation in inflation stats, in government borrowing, in economic statistics, in all assets, and on and on and on and on. I just want a more 'real' world. What an archaic thinker I am...). Oh, well.
