PCLN 1031 and still in a smooth, strong uptrend. Very rational. No froth here. Move along, nothing to see.

Wow, Jeremy Siegel just said if we get a resolution on the debt ceiling we'll get 1,000 Dow points. Cool. Sounds very realistic. I'd think it would be 2,000, though.

And there's yet another stooooooooo-pid move into the close. Yes, the side to be on is long. Yes, that was a 'buyable dip'. And yes, that is a maddening, infuriating stoo-pid move there regardless.

So, what's the news? A deal has been made? Time for Siegel's 1,000 Dow points?

Some nice sentiment that I have been following. It sure seems we are close. Very close. Now, next month, January, whatever. Soon. Or maybe it just goes up forever.

This is a must read for those in here. This is a nice review of exactly what I was trying to explain awhile back. We are all dead broke, and a million in the hole, each. Although this guy doesn't get into the 'in the hole' part, the rest very eloquently explains what I was saying. There's not any new information, it just spells out what is truly going on, and how we are all deluded into thinking it isn't already over. You all know the 'dead man walking' concept.

Like in Ghostbusters, when they have to choose the form of their annihilator. They try to keep their minds blank, but one can't. The form of the annihilator has been chosen. They didn't even think of anything, they didn't choose, they wanted no part of it. But, it was done. All that was left was to wait and see as it came for them. We are in that situation. We haven't chosen the form of our destruction. So what, the choice has been made.

Wow, is this awesome. But will it amount to anything? Who can tell. After all these years I am always ready for disappointment, as they come in once again just when it would otherwise give way...

Some day, though, there will be no 'they' to come in and this oinker will 'reprice' in one shot...
