Just starting it off. I wonder if they'll keep doing late day rapid-sells, or was that just a holiday week anomaly?

Now here it sits at the next key area, as shown above. I think it is going to blow it out to the upside. Likely into the end of the day, but if not, surely Sunday night/Monday. I think they are over their 'worries' and now they will start the run into the year end bonus/Jan. They are also already talking about a deal for the upcoming Jan 15 debt debacle, and that was my thinking for a possible trigger for a collapse. I think they will either make the deal, or make it sound positive until the last minute, then right at the key time period for the market, they will suddenly say 'No deal!'. But, my gut is saying the 'bull' is not going to end as I had hoped (meaning soon). I think Armstrong may be right after all. Fall 2015, Dow at 32,000, and the equivalent I came up with, ES at 3400. Just a thought. Old Yeller will crank the amount up, and the market will go nuts. All rationality is gone, in an orgy of wealth stealing. My two cents.

Is this flat here the next launchpad, or will it drop to a DT ABCD?

This must be one of your best tools and the most secret one.

How did I know that? It's not like I post that type of comment every day...

Sure seems like the ES wants a 20+ or 30+ up day. It just feels like it wants it. I can't wait for that report.

I'm watching 3.25, but also 2.25-.50, if this needs more than the flat here. It may not need more, though, perhaps just time.

That was done purely with 'gut read' based on experience. I guess that is my best tool, but it isn't a secret, just a hard-earned skill. I wouldn't be able to explain any more about it, I just looked at the chart and 'knew'.

Is that the start, or the suck in?

I should have known. It's like reading the context. Either you feel it or not.

Yes, but it isn't a 'gift' I have, like those that don't want to do the necessary work insist on, it is the result of tens of thousands of hours of hard work. I was talking yesterday, after a long time being out of touch, with my previously longest running student. We were discussing aspects of what I go through trying to mentor and such. I was talking about how students tend to leave shortly after getting a good handle on the basic techniques. They either go looking for another approach, or try a mechanical approach for 'context', or something of the sort.

He said something along the lines of 'They are falling into the 'context' trap.' I asked him to clarify what he meant, and he basically said 'Trying to circumvent doing the work it takes to learn 'context'. They are looking for a shortcut, an easy way out, instead of paying their dues.' Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner, give that man a cee-gar. That sums it all up. 'Context', as I explained on the new, updated mentorship page, is what takes the 5-10 years, not mastering the basic techniques.

Here's a link for the updated mentorship page, not as a promotion, but so those that haven't read it can get an idea where I'm coming from:

First area hit, and it 'sees' it. Is that it now? I can't wait to see.
