This was the most important post I've made in awhile. See how this played out as outlined? I saw the 'pattern' setting up, recognized it, and posted it so all could follow along. And notice, too, how it went into chop two hours before the close (although, admittedly, it hasn't went anywhere since the high of the first 1.5-2.0 hours i.e. the morning session). Same old, same old. They have some templates they like to use, and it helps when you can anticipate which one is being used. Setups require 'context', since 'context' drives a move, not the setup. The setup tells you where to get it, not that you should get it. These patterns/templates they use, they can provide some 'context'.

It's smokin'! This looks like a ride until the pre-market, then assess for a 'get better prices' pullback, same as last time. I'm really surprised it isn't struggling in here.

Okay, watch closely to see if this will just be a fake here, then continue the chop into the close, or if this is a genuine 'breakout'. I can't imagine it being anything but a trap, but I'd be happy if it exploded.

See, no 'breakout', just more chop. They rush it up, suck in some suckers, and back down it goes. Why not? I mean, why just snooze to the close when you can screw one last group of daytrading suckers?

Amazing how this game is played. The days of investors investing in quality stocks held for retirement are long, long since over (if they ever really existed at all...).

Let's see if they play any 'breakout' games after cash close now.

Recall my area of 65-70 above. That may be the next move for it, of Marcin's excellent area is not respected.

Analyst on the idiot box saying the economy is finally hitting 'escape velocity' and the anchor is mentioning the 'silver lining' to all this easy money policy. And now talking about 'Old Yeller' and how she heads to Jackson Hole with an economy that is 'Not too hot, not too cold' (for my overseas readers, this phrase is a take off from the Goldilocks story, and is used very commonly). I feel sick. I have to switch over to a music station, this is so pathetic. But, it's part of the process. If they weren't all here doing all this, there wouldn't be a market.

Here's a good overview of the same old, same old, as I've been saying all along. When TSHTF it is really going to be something.
