I think this thing needs to set another new all-time high now. It just seems like it has that need. And I think it's a very reasonable thing for it to do. It deserves to be at new highs again after waiting this long.

I'm fresh from my second nap and ready to watch the European action. I'll probably fade in an hour... Anyway, the initial reaction on the open is down, so I expect up soon.

I went to bed right after that last post, despite the naps. I had nothing. Just doing a quick check on my bathroom break (it's not fun to have the 'old man' enlarged prostate plus a sleep disorder, but boy is it good for keeping tabs on the overnight sessions
), and this has the look of a hard rollover starting. Maybe when I get up in the pre-market I may be surprised at the turnaround, and I can't imagine a down Friday with Old Yeller shooting off her pie hole in JackHole, but you never know. Maybe they are just going to make it look that way before they blast it up.

And that's exactly what it did. The problem, nowadays, is that they use that to fake people out so often, it is nearly useless now. In fact, I almost always use it in a contrarian way. Nonetheless, there is significance in that either it rolls over or slightly rolls and snaps up, but it indicates I am perceiving something. If many of them just meandered around, did nothing, then it might be my imagination. But, in my experience, things tend to happen as soon as I see the 'look' of a rollover or huge strength coming. Just some thoughts.

Typical rangey day. It has the look now like it is going to get absolutely crushed into the close. That likely means:

a) it's just about done going down

b) it's probably about to pop up, given it's a Friday

This look sure looks genuine to me. If they don't kill it, I will be absolutely amazed at how good they are at these games.

So, if I were playing ranges, and was short here, my inclination would be to factor this in to the management i.e. I wouldn't scalp them all out quickly in here, I'd wait a bit and see.

Understand, though, when it looks like an imminent collapse, they can't wait around, or that momentum is lost. If they don't continue it, that's that. It's not to say the trend can't keep going, bounce and roll, only that the look of collapse is gone, so a typical collapse is off the table, probability-wise.

This one just doesn't look like it will get off the floor here. I'd be a bit surprised if it could bounce at all here.

Not many know that lately I've been assisting my better half with 'landscaping' our front and side yard and doing the garden. She relocated a nearly eight year gardening project (flowers, shrubs, tress, and vegi's) when we moved. What we didn't know was the place we bought has the worst clay soil I have ever seen in my entire life. When we get closer to completion I'll post a picture or two in here. We won't finish entirely before the brutal non-stop rain gets here in the fall, but we'll be pretty far along, enough for some pics. In the meantime, here's what we're working with. No, those aren't rocks, that's the soil.

And by the way, that's not concrete below the wheelbarrow, that's the ground we are working with.
