I can't get over how bullish Armstrong is. The concept is there is a ton of total 'money' out there, and it has to go somewhere. The only place left is equities. If money left everything (this is not realistic, just an example), and poured into equities, and one factored in the frenzy aspect and how people will pay up when they see big gains happening, I price the Dow at around 200,000. This is without a currency devaluation. If 'money' was pulled from all sovereign instruments and other 'investments' and piled into equities, I think that would be the minimum we'd see the Dow at. Then, when that bubble bursts, where does it go at that point? See, with this much 'money' in the system, it has to generate endless bubbles. There is more 'money' 'printed' then there are assets, by orders of magnitude. So we must have serial bubbles. Great system, especially for the average person...

C'mon, baby, bounce in that after-cash. Just one more point. You can do it!

There is no significance to another point, I'm just enjoying watching it struggle so hard to rise even a point.

It's like I know what will happen, it will soon be back to the usual, and I can't have what I want (S&P @ 400 or less), so at least let me enjoy a tiny little temporary struggle, and I can extrapolate in my mind. Kind of like a young guy sees a pretty girl walking by and he dreams that she is his girlfriend (yeah, that is what he's dreaming...). You get the idea. Let me dream the ES always struggles this hard to rise. Let me have my extrapolation fantasy, before reality hits again...

Not many know that lately I've been assisting my better half with 'landscaping' our front and side yard and doing the garden. She relocated a nearly eight year gardening project (flowers, shrubs, tress, and vegi's) when we moved. What we didn't know was the place we bought has the worst clay soil I have ever seen in my entire life. When we get closer to completion I'll post a picture or two in here. We won't finish entirely before the brutal non-stop rain gets here in the fall, but we'll be pretty far along, enough for some pics. In the meantime, here's what we're working with. No, those aren't rocks, that's the soil.
And by the way, that's not concrete below the wheelbarrow, that's the ground we are working with.
