rat,
Awesome work. I think I am learning more about ew by studying your charts.

Another look at GBP.USD. I liked Friday’s pattern, even though I missed the nice upmove . I am looking at the charts in ew terms, and I am trying to get a better feel for “context,” especially potential end-of-wave targets, if that is possible. ( I think I should spend more time looking at “context” before I jump into my paper trades). Chart 2 shows 1 hr view, and I have w1, w2, and w3 labeled. w3 is slightly longer than w1, so w3 is not the shortest impulsive wave, if my tentative wave count is correct. I want to see if I can see a W4 and W5.

I missed the GBP.USD move up this morning. Spent too much time trying to guess my way out of a short trading range (arrow on chart). Not smart on my part! Went back to sleep. I should have spent more time looking at different timeframes. The price reversal on the 200 15m was a pretty good tell, IMO.

yeah, your B looks like a (1) and your C looks like a (2). Next move up looks like a wave 3

rat, I appreciate your comments! Al
Work in progress. If this wave count is correct, then IMO GBP.USD is now in a corrective mode, and I have not analyzed that yet. I think it is an ABC correction in the form of a five step Wave A, a 3 step Wave B, and a 5 step Wave C. I will post that later.
