Rock, rock, rock me, Jimadamus...

Sung to the tune of 'Rock me, Amadeus' by Falco

And yes, I am just funning around, I make no predictions, no claims, and never any recommendations...

For those that can't remember this song, here's a link of the version that was popular at the time in my area. Many German speaking people think it is a pretty poor version compared to the native language short version.

Just remember, if a person makes calls, they are only as good as their last call. What I am trying to do here is point out scenarios I see potentially unfolding, and explaining many times the supporting concepts behind those scenarios, in advance as often as I can. The point is educational, not 'making calls'. Looking at various scenarios, and getting a read on the perceived highest probability ones from that pool is one thing, making calls another. It may seem a subtle difference, but it is an important one. So, although I am getting a big kick out of singing 'Jimadamus' and posting this link, keep in mind it is all for fun, and I am focused on the work and finding setups, and the entire comprehensive 'Trading Plan' approach, and I'm not, nor ever will be someone who 'makes calls'.

Still at it... Do I never tire of this? Anyone see that yen ABCD? Has it moved too far up (down for you cash FX guys) without a big enough correction for this 'small' ABCD to play out very much? So far the initial move is quite nice. Like the USD, Euro, and such, the yen is also at a critical area where if the USD was going to strengthen, it should roll down. So, the 'context' is quite interesting. But who thinks the USD is actually going to turn up? Technically, I'd say yes, but my gut feel opinion, it's going to perhaps 35, or zero (2-3 cents...) if there is a fast currency crisis. Anyway, this one is worth watching. Also note that the GBP is right at its first critical area right here off that primo setup it had, so lots of things are lining up. What a time for currencies.

It is still possible that my last count of the Oct 2 - Oct 15 move was correct and S&P is doing an expanding ABCD since then:

Does everyone see the set on the 13-min with the .382 and .447 right at the LOD? How about the 3D right into the area, best seen on a 1 or 3-min? I am not convinced this will bounce much, but it is an area that gets some serious respect from me. Now watch the set line and .300 (and the .382 and .447 above) here, for initial clues.

Okay, I'll solve the mystery. I probably should have left this for a day to see what anyone might come up with, but I want to finish up my week here, so I'll go ahead.

Note that this is not the basis for my trading, only one more factor I can add to my methodology when I see it. SL comes in, so I put the standard SL set on there, and watch the ML. Among many other things, it overlaps with an obvious .300 and .564. Hence the 78 (maybe 77.75?)

ES Z9 2min 1 102309

I also noticed another SL and set for that, and the upper // hits at the obvious .886 at 77.50, right in the general area.

ES Z9 2min 2 102309

It's splitting hairs to try to call these two areas, or to try to find an ES area even as small as two ticks, so in reality all this is one area, and it hit it dead on. I never should have said I was watching 78, instead I should have said 77.75 plus or minus a tick or two, but I really thought it might want to hit that ML dead on and quit right there for the week. So, that's one of the things I was watching for that mystery area...
