Here is an updated version of my longer term bearish TD ABCD in ES:





It has some drawbacks (especially the impulsive look of the potential BC leg) but the decisive break beneath the rising TL should confirm it.
Otherwise the rise from early July low might develop into a bigger ABCD itself:

Yep, the coil broke, it did so with vigor, and it was to the upside. Hmmm, Jim isn't surprised, is he?

I've got some nice levels, the first at 14.25-15.50. Then 18, then at that .886 around 23.75-24.50.

Their 'predictableness', at times, is stunning to me.

It sure 'sees' that first area, which stopped it dead. But, I suspect it will keep rising after a little pause. I think it wants that .886 area, which basically would make back the entire drop. That would be amazing. I'm not sure if they have enough to do it all, but we'll see. In 'the old days' I'd say it was done right here and down it goes. But $100 trillion or more, soon to be a quadrillion, does amazing things when pumped into such a small market, as I said, along with quote stuffing to raise the price without any actual buying...

And there's the expected break, right to the next level, 17.75. What a coincidence.

It wants that 24 soooooooo bad. But, you can't always get what you want. It may have to wait to gap up on GLOBEX and get that.

They sure want to take a run at that 24...

Just a little note here, I think next week I'm going to take one of my breaks from everything but the market, as I mentioned in my monthly commentary. I will still be reading the forum here, but won't be posting.

There's another break and new high for the move. 20.50 is the RTH HOD, and I'd think they would take a shot at that. I think there is still a slight chance they will hit that 24 in the after cash. I'd think that 20.50 would go if they had any gas left in the tank. This is a 'chop' 3D here, though, so it could struggle. It doesn't really matter, it did what I expected and mentioned in advance in here, and that was to break that coil with vigor to the upside, and it went right to my two posted areas. Let's leave a little for the Sunday night GLOBEX pop. I'm thinking, and this is just Jim having fun, doing his grouchy sarcasm, that likely this will be up every day next week, and maybe even hit new highs for the 'bull', over the April high. Let's see what happens.

Very curious how dead this is in the after cash.

I guess they will have to be happy to close this near the high tick for the move, and right at the RTH HOD. I know I'm happy with how that coil play played out.
