starting to set up my zones at the 14.75 - 16.75 then that 21.50 and of course our old pal 1108 - 1110
so farthe 14.75 is building the volume in ON......
still 30 minute to RTH....

1112.25 is also looking like an important number to me. Projecting up from the July 30th low its the 1.618 number on the 30 min.

Hi Lorn,
I use TS and was wondering if the Floor Trader Pivots is calculating globex sessions. Are your calculations using daily only or also including globex pivots?
Thanks

I'm using globex figures for these ranges.
The built in TS floor pivot indicator uses RTH for its calculations.

I just double checked the TS settings for its floor trader pivots and it all depends on what session setting you are using on your charts.
If you have globex up then the pivots will use globex data.
If you have day session up then the pivots will use day session data to calculate.
Sorry for the confusion.

gonna see how they quote the strangle on the open and probably cover whole position ... was hoping for another push down coming into the RTH but hasn't happened
don't want a gap and rally on open to erode any profits and ain't gonna leg out of this 'un ... I screw the pooch 4 outta 5 times when doing that ... looks like it may be going for that push down now (or at least trying) .... 4 mins till mkt opens

my plan is to try small buys below the O/N lows.....BUt and this is a huge BUTT......I am not being aggressive as this could easily run down to 1100 - 1103 and not prepared to play hard today...so that is my way of saying that I'm on the lookout for a valid breakout of Mondays lows
Hopefully we will get a low $tick reading....another reason to be careful is that the 1114 area is acting as Resistance.....and building volume in O/N

abandoning my plan especially if they make new lows below O/N lows after the 14.75 - 16.75 test...
I was hoping they would have brought it down first before the retest up...
will look for sells off this zone now

I took that last loss at 16.25...it's one thing having losses, it's another having them on Friday...and many times posting trades makes the losses seem worse but they are what they are........
always something to learn the hints where there down when POC flipped...just didn't respond well...at least we have some good numbers from today
