Darn, I was watching the ES, it opened and dropped right to a line I was watching, to the tick, and started up. I got a buy trigger. I decided not to post on this. My motivation wanes from time to time, as I get so little interaction on all my posts. Now the ES is up almost 20 off the low, much more than I expected by now. It's really getting ramped hard. Oh, well, I wish I had posted it as it was happening. I used a really cool line technique to get my line. I had it on there shortly after Friday morning got started.

I hope it goes without saying that despite my stubbornness in not letting them shake me off that very short-term short-side bias, that bias would be 'fulfilled' on a reaction off an ABCD at a .300/.382 at a major key line at this time of day. If this was a mid-range (or above) short-term up to an intermediate-term play, that's a different story, but is wasn't. This should be completely clear, but in case, somehow, it wasn't, I was pretty excited about the bullish ABCD when it set up so spectacularly and produced a reaction with a great trigger. Do the work. Wow.

So, gold up about 118 or so off its recent low. Now, where was that low? Right in the lower level zone that I posted I was watching...

Here is my usual look:

Just as a point of reference, mentioned way after the fact so take it with a grain of salt, on the short end of the intermediate-term (there is no real 'short-term', 'intermediate-term', 'long-term', it's a continuum), I am long-side bias, and my weapon of choice for that is SPY options (calls). Just to add in some 'context'.

Did anyone notice that today's LOD may be a shallow C point 'W2' acting ABCD?

And did anyone notice that the intraday ABCD we just hit may be the CD leg of a DT ABCD where the C point went just a little high? I think it fits the spirit of the pattern. But, maybe it was just a last push and then a standard ABCD. It doesn't mater to the trade setup, it is purely 'academic'.

Just as a thought. I think today rated almost a 10 out of 10 as far as 'tradeability' for the KT methodology. Just to give everyone a reference point. If you study today, do workups and such, you should find it spectacular, in my opinion. If you don't, then you need to keep working. It rarely gets better than this, for my methodology, again in my opinion.

Hey, we haven't heard from tx_ches for awhile. I hope I didn't discourage tx with my teaching/learning posts... If so, it was surely unintentional. You out there tx? I hope it's just that you got busy all of the sudden...

Of course I meant KZ. I'm sorry if I confused anybody.
I'm quite bussy at work nowadays and I can hardly post charts, which resulted in an obvious mistake.

Okay, not trying to be overly critical, just making sure I understand what you are saying.
