Wow, that was a sweet little 1-min bar stop run breakdown there. I love it. Maybe that's all the downside it has, though. You know the games they like to play before they do a Sunday night GLOBEX/Monday run up. But, one of these times we'll get some real downside... It's sure all set up for some right now, as discussed previously. I'm patiently (Hah!) waiting for it...

Here they come to at least take a shot at it...

I still think they want a decisive upside resolution. I'm not sure they have the juice, but I think they want it bad. Blow out that ABCD so they are free to run.

Totally and ruthlessly denied! What a battle at this ABCD. Incredible. Closes right at the key area.

So, no matter the interpretation of the price action, the ES spent the last almost two hours in a 3.25 point range, chopping like a Japanese Ginsu chef...

And the last appx. four hours in a 5.75 point range. Great...

So, AMZN misses, guides lower, and is getting pommeled in the aftermarket. I wonder how much it will be up tomorrow?

It looks like I have a small but loyal following of people who see the merits of what I have spent appx. 40,000 hours developing, and which I share tirelessly and selflessly with people for what amounts to a pittance. I'm thankful for that.

Thank you rat. You are too kind, and the week is still young. I think Jim has made a great place for us to learn about markets. I learn here everyday and I love the charts and thoughtful comments posted here.

Jim has a way of cutting to the chase and I was puzzling, in that chart I posted, based on Jim's trendline, over why the price turned so sharply up at the ML Lower //, as Jim commented. My work was hindsight. This is fun.

I wonder why the ES reversed so sharply this AM? Yes, it was an ABCD with an ABCD in the BC leg. Yes, it had the key Fibs I look for in there. And yes, it had some incredible lines right there. But never overlook the obvious. This was a critical factor, to me.

I think it also pays to look at other markets when doing 'intraday swing trading' (daytrading to most). Gold, the currencies, and crude were anything but dead today.
