The best area I have now is from let's say 1370-80, coming together this week. For a pattern the size of this, that is as narrow as I can get it. It then becomes about triggers and price action. But, recall my quote about trading bearish 'W2's' unless the start of 'W1' is clearly a PTA or end of the bull market (click here for quote).
Although I'd love that March high to have been the end of the bull market, or even the start of a bigger correction, that is not a given at this point, and pretty much consensus is new bull market highs are coming, and coming soon. Normally I'd say from a contrarian standpoint that implies it will be headed right down, but those bulls sure seem to have it nailed dead on right now, so probably they'll be right about new bull market highs. After all, they are spot on for this move, right?

'W2' just done and now 'W3' down takes this to your ML and my lower 1100's. An ABCD takes it to the upper 11's, also as mentioned. Fits the election plan perfectly. There's still time. All is well. Now we see if it actually happens. The reason I am suspicious of a new high is that everyone is calling for it. It's 100% among the places I follow for sentiment purposes. But, as I mentioned in my one post, I rarely get what I want in this manipulation market. Today I did, but it's the exception, by far. Will they really give me this? I hope so.

How rare it gives me exactly what I want. It sets up totally clearly to me, and then follows through. For downside, this is very rare, in my experience, since Mar '09. And you can see how well they've trained their Pavlovian lap dog (me). Any time I see something that would be a no-brainer, I start to worry, get suspicious. Why? Because they rarely allow such things to play out, or at the least not without several traps and shakeouts first.
This time it sets up clearly and does what the setup shows. I think the reason for this is so that the PLD (Pavlovian lap dog) will now act immediately on those, and get trapped and shaken out first. Arf, arf. PLD. They sure are slippery eels. Or the other possibility as I see it is that we are, indeed, in a bear market and in 'W3' down, in which case they will turn the machines off until it hits the area they want it to, and things will act like pre-2009 for awhile. I hope so...

Now, the market is really set up nicely for some downside, a real dump. Tomorrow is the big jobs report. Last time was a huge miss, and the market got hammered. I think the odds greatly favor a huge upside surprise. I have no idea why I think this, just a gut feeling. Maybe it amounts to nothing.
On one hand, perhaps, I see that things are set up so nicely for downside, and I want downside real bad, and whenever this is the case, I am almost always disappointed. Almost always. Next, the market is bullish as all get out. When that's the case, the report is usually an upside surprise with a big response. The selling and the election plan, although it may not be the case, does appear to be totally done, long since forgotten.
Sure, the report tomorrow could be awful, and then the plan comes right back on the table, and the selling resumes with vigor. It is possible. But, I am gravely concerned they want to run the market some more (and ruin all the wonderful bearish alignments...), and to do that they will simply fake a big number for tomorrow, and as soon as it is released they will also buy some futures to help really goose it, and then all the momo algos will just go nuts. That's my best 'guess'. I hope it is 1,000% wrong.

Watch this 42.25 as a possible low for today. I'm not saying it is going up, necessarily, although it is going into a Friday close, and you never know. I would not expect a ramp up, as this doesn't do that too often on a big kill day. It would more likely just grind around until the close, in my experience. But, based on the 'chart signature' that last push there may be it for today. We'll see.
P.S. I hope some big sellers come in and give it another big leg down and really kill 'em. Then my huge smile can become a record-setting Jim smile. Actually, I'd really rather have them not kill it, as that may climax it and set it up for another ridiculous Sunday bounce. I want the downside to be slow, long, and very persistent.

I'm watching this 47 area, but it looks like nothing but up now. It should fade somewhere in here if the bears are still in control, in my opinion.

Okay, showtime. Now we see. As I sometimes say, I already 'know' what we'll see.
