Jim has allowed me to post some charts in a separate thread, so I will post here in Al's Charts 2. I am amazed at how the Kane Trading methodology permeates price action. I like moving averages, too.
Any comment welcome.
Good Trading to all.

I've read it a few times myself. It's part of my 'destress campaign'. So far, though, my stress, after all these years of just letting it run wild, overwhelms all the approaches I am trying.

I read "The Relaxation Response" a few years ago. It is a very cool book and, imho, well worth reading.

Good Trading to all,

p.s. I am now reading "Kane Trading on Multiple Timeframes and 'Context'." I forgot what an informative book it is. Good job, Jim!

Jim, I hope and pray that you can "destress" as you would like to, and that your health improves. From what I have read, trading is a very stressful activity and it is tough on traders. I have also heard that "old habits die hard."
You might want to look at "Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)," an alternative technique which can be used for dealing with the effects of stress, and involves tapping meridian points on the body along with self talk.

Physical activity, walks, rehab physical therapy, seem to help me destress.
Physical Therapy is really helping my rehab from my hip replacement surgery.
All the Best,
Al Kamego

Here is a simulated trade I made this morning. Boy, am I rusty!
Traded Timeframe: 5 minute; Entry Timeframe: 1 minute: Context Timeframe: 15 minute.
Context: I copied rat's chart for the 15 minute. 0.886, 1.128 fibos, lines in PTA.
On the 5 minute ES M3, i saw a 3D down pattern that completed at the RTH close yesterday. The open today rose above the 50 SMA, and dropped back down into the Kane Zone and reversed up. I wanted to enter if price rose above the 8EMA on the Traded TF. I dropped down to the Entry TF, 1 minute, and tried to Buy 25 sh SPY as price rose above 8EMA on the 1 minute. I finally entered a market order, got filled, got flummoxed, did not enter a stop, exited as Inverted Hammer formed at top of 3D formation on 5 minute. Made $7.00 paper trading money.($2.oo commission)
