I'll start the open topic for this week. I hope the week is as 'good' as last week.

BTW, I'm getting that vibe again, roofer's getting close... If I only wouldn't keep saying something I bet he'd be back by now...

Jeremy Siegel coming up on Bloomberg, he's calling for Dow 15,000-17,000 by year end. I don't agree with his call. I think that's far too conservative. The Dow really should be trading 20,000 right now based on growth and valuations (valuations are at extreme historical lows now, making the stock market 'the bargain not only of the century, but of all time'). So, if it should be at 20,000 now, and a reasonable growth rate for stocks is say 30% per year, we should really be at at least 26,000 by year end. But, understand, I'm very conservative, so probably much higher would be fair value.

Siegel: "I have no fear we are overbought in the equity markets right now."

Well, we are at that 1504-06 I mentioned awhile ago. But, alas 'I have no fear we are overbought'. Hence, up, up, and away.

Don't get me wrong, I can only see the long side now, but that doesn't mean I can't be insanely frustrated with that, and all this manipulation.

Siegel, paraphrased:

Is it too late for me now to get in the market?

No, no, not at all. Even though the market is up over 100% off the low, no, it's not too late at all.

So, since AMZN, a 'Golden Boy' stock right now, has come in a bit, will they explode up hugely on their earnings after the bell?

AMZN PE about 180 (mentioned on Bloomberg, it's 3,190 according to Yahoo finance). For reference, AAPL's PE is about 10.
