Here it is.
Chart.
Isn't Hindsight grand? Mine is 20/20 on this one. Looks almost like magic in hindsight, but it is just the tools, as presented in this forum.
Happy April Fools' Day.

This must be it, it just came out:
"North Korea Says It Has Final Approval For Nuclear Attack On US"
A nuclear war would be great for the market.

Here's ZH's satirical post on this:
"For those concerned, here is a map showing the range of North Korean missiles. It is safe to assume that GETCO's collocated servers are safe, and will ramp the ES limit up on any flashing red headline launch news. Just think of the fixed income investment and epic resulting GDP boost, on both a real and seasonally adjusted basis."

Hmmm, I can find no other news, and this was right at the time it exploded. Why in God's name would the market explode up on N. Korea saying they have gotten approval to nuke us? (This, of course, begs the question of their silly game, approval from who???)

So, I know the market is horribly, horrifically broken, but why would the newsbots just explode the market on news this awful? Why wouldn't they dump it? What kind of programming do they have that interprets that as strongly market positive? This is one sick world.

Here's an additional N. Korean headline:
"North Korean Army has approval to launch "mercilesss" nuclear strike on U.S. involving possible use of "cutting edge" nuclear weapons."
I don't get the game they are playing. Unless Russia has supplied them with nukes and missiles, they have nothing 'cutting edge' whatsoever, and if they attempted to strike us 'we' would likely turn the entire country into a huge crater in the ground. Literally.

Nice little drop on the reopen. Must be we aren't going to war with N. Korea.

And as usual, whatever newsbot item caused that little drop, it is now made up in a grind. What a shocker. Same old, same old.
