Here it is.
Chart.
Isn't Hindsight grand? Mine is 20/20 on this one. Looks almost like magic in hindsight, but it is just the tools, as presented in this forum.
Happy April Fools' Day.

I thought this was a joke, you know Zero Hedge. But, this really happened. FF the clip to the time they specify. Now, here's the cool part. Look at how the people look at him when he announces his question is from ZH. One woman is trying hard not to laugh, one woman just looks dumbfounded, and one guy does like a triple take and looks like he simply can't believe what he is hearing. How dare any right wing conspiracy nut from ZH dare address a god like 'Dragh Queen'.
The point (other than the absolutely priceless expressions on the faces of those people) is that his answer is, without a doubt, the scariest thing I have heard since the start of the financial crisis (or maybe ever). I had heard them say 'The Euro is forever.' Let me tell you a little parable.
When I was a teacher the whole state was taken over by this asinine competency test. No more textbook math, it was now this abstract, you really have to think for yourself test. We were forced to abandon the textbooks and teach to the test. It was insane. I hated it, and told them it was a very, very bad test. I was pulled aside and told any more talk like that and I'd be let out of my contract, and possible lose my teaching license. This didn't sit well with me.
I taught to the test. But, I followed up. On a given test there were only five questions, essay style. I'm a mathematical 'wiz'. Two of the five I couldn't answer (they were unanswerable), and one was flawed, I forgot how (I'm going back almost twenty years). One of the university professors I knew was top shelf. I took it to him. He was unable to answer the two, and commented on the flawed one something like 'This question here, well, there is no point to even trying on that one.' I think his answers on the remaining two were 'substandard' by the grading criteria. This is a top tenured university professor.
I showed this to the principal. She said she was considering suspending me, I think it was, for pursuing this. One day I had had enough. I walked into the teacher's lounge (which, BTW, was, it turns out, actually 'bugged'), and stood in the center area, held up one of the tests, and said quite loudly 'The xyz' test will not stand. I have $500 (a lot of money for a teacher at the time) I am willing to put in escrow right now for anyone who wants to take the other side of that bet. All eyes immediately were averted from me, and no one said a word.
I was called into the office minutes later, and harshly warned again (I guess they didn't want me telling my story if they did actually suspend me). It was only a few weeks later that my only ally (a silent ally) came running up to me as I arrived, with a newspaper clipping in hand. She showed it to me. The state legislature had just repealed the test. Yep. Like I said, it would not stand...
The moral? The Euro will not stand. It will break up, to that I have zero doubt. Not little doubt, zero doubt. The Euro is not forever, it's not even, historically, for a long time. But, like those with this test, they said it was forever, and there was no Plan B, and no discussion of a Plan B.
So, what happens to the world when Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Greece, or somebody does jump (and they will), or even Germany? There is no plan in place, and no discussion, because 'The Euro is forever'. No, it's not. It's on its way out as we speak. And with no plan in place, woe is the world. That's the scariest thing I've ever heard.

i call this the vix derivative trade... the only other trader i have shown this is rat....two parts.... i have completed geometry in spy( in this case completed 5 point with measured move to .618).... but i do not have a good 5/1 risk reward then ..part two.... i will look to use the geometry of this forum to find an entry in a vxx product that offers tight stop with clear 5/1 in this case i exited with 8/1 my initial risk on close.

Just a little aside. I had to triple check my Nikkei chart, it was up just over 1,000 points since yesterday, on an index around 12,000. Up a thousand? That's like saying the Dow is up 1,200 since yesterday. How often do we hear that? And the Nikkei was trading in the 8,000's just several months ago. Insane. But, they are now printing and buying at well over twice the pace, proportionally, as the Fed. We're going off the rails on a crazy train...
