Isn't Hindsight grand? Mine is 20/20 on this one. Looks almost like magic in hindsight, but it is just the tools, as presented in this forum.

Happy April Fools' Day.

Oh, yeah, forgot to mention a .300/.382/.447 overlap off three key swings. I guess I should have pegged this as the most like area. I had reasons to think lower, but it should have been more obvious to me that they were just looking for the right excuse to blast it up, and this was a great spot.

I do have one key line that hits there to the tick, though, two other lines in there, and something else that says 'done'...

ATTN roofer, please read:

I didn't think I'd have trouble on the first day... Ooooof. Anyway, I will give the benefit of the doubt here, in that roofer may have thought he did answer the questions with follow up chart posts. So, I will clarify here. I still don't understand when to look for this. I'm looking for a verbal answer to understand some simple things:

What are the red lines, do they just indicate that slow, grinding action is expected before and after, or is there something else to that?

Is any geometry required, or do you take these regardless of what the geometry shows? I see little geometry on your charts, but that may be for clarity purposes.

Is the pattern just a slow period of sideways action, a blast up, and then a rounding top? I know it looks obvious, but is there anything else to what you are looking for, or is that it?

Thanks in advance. Now we see.

roofer, could you explain the parameters for the Mr. Spikey pattern, as I've not seen that one before, and it isn't clear to me how it works. Thanks.

It just rounds over and drops to form a 'head'? When do you look for it, on a big pop up and a 'rounded' head forming?

P.S. This is just too much stress for me. It's like we are in second grade. WTF.

P.S.S. I f'in hate ever mentioning anyone by name or putting them on the spot. Why the hell is this happening?

the mr spikey is a tongue in cheek pattern that showed up quite a bit a few months ago to the point i archived many examples and another trader and i were competing to see who could add the most art work to the chart and who could forecast it first given the least amount of info.... in all seriousness, if the computers that run the markets see something that has happened before by overlaying a template.... which i did with today's action... i think they will try to hit it again. i try to hit it if i think it makes sense by using tools shown here before in today's case by hitting the overlapping 1.27's...for a more serious treatment of the subject see marketanthropology.com.

in his own questioning and in the linked zerohedge work.. jim has raised the question what happens when the currency has no value.i live in a hood that all the german corps tell their transfers to live in.. so i have been able to ask those who came from former east germany that question...essentially if you had no skill that you could barter you were peniless.. if you were skilled in a trade you could get anything you wanted with no paper currency.it is interesting that even now the concept of sitting at a screen all day and electronically pushing money around all day seems profoundly ridiculous to them.

And I think it will seem profoundly ridiculous to us, too, when this whole thing goes... Not much of a skill to barter with. At least you can roof.
