Okay, I'll get it started for this week. I'm expecting another fantastic week, as far as action.

And they did come in. I can't wait to see what they do after the futures reopen. Is this just an obligatory bounce, and that sea change has taken place? Or is it back to status quo? Likely we will have to wait until the European session to find anything out, or even into tomorrow AM.

It 'sees' that KZ, with other things hitting in there, too. Now we see.

Make sure to reread the Hemingway quote at the end.

I was getting ready to post this link, and my better half called me from the grocery store. She wanted to know what to do for potatoes. The price is up 68% from last week. Yeah, right, it's a bad crop, sure it is. Nah, there's no inflation (note today the Fed said if inflation remains below target like it is now they are really going to have to do something or it could be really bad). Why is everybody handling this so well except me? Why aren't there riots in the streets?

I live in one of the poorest counties in my state, so I see the reality every day. I chose this area because of the proximity to a major national park and lots of unpopulated areas. Most of my readers are, I think, quite well off (relatively speaking), and live in nice, fairly affluent areas. I mean seriously, who in here thinks roofer is a pauper? I can't even imagine the neighborhood or house he lives in (I'm just picking you, roofer, because you are the best known in here). Or rat, with those amazing NYC pictures he posted, showing those fantastic NYC real estate properties to his clients.
But, I chose to live in a poor rural area, and I see all this stuff unfolding every day for all my friends and neighbors (again, I'm not saying you don't see it, too, roofer, or rat, or anyone else, I just used you guys as an example of 'better' neighborhoods). It's brutal for them, totally brutal. I have a friend who worked for I think it was over two decades as a forklift operator for one of AmeriKa's biggest manufacturers, and then they 'downsized'. He now works, and has for some time now, for an adult care facility (no, he had no background experience in that area). There were zero jobs for him as a skilled forklift operator. He makes $12 an hour, after years at this place. He's 56 I think. Imagine that 68% jump in potato prices for him. And inflation hasn't really started yet. There is no immediate crisis. Imagine when TSHTF. Few can imagine what is coming.
