roofer taught me the importance of measuring fib from the center of the gap...notice where price got in trouble, right in the kz at line....now the question is whether it pulls back in a shallow continuation retrace, gets sent down for retest in the game zone to launch the move up, or falls apart completely

Gold is exploding in here, with these bursts, three now, that start the next leg. In about ten minutes it has climbed almost 25.

Thanks for the replies, roofer. I know your goal in here is not to help everyone as much as possible no matter if it is fun or not for you, but to present what you want to present, and let people take from it what they may. But, that said, let me say that there are so many posts of your work in here, thousands and thousands, that I think that gives the readers plenty to study.
In terms of balance, they see little about the trades that don't work out, what your actual trade series may look like, what entry and management look like on charts, and especially what say a series of ten or twenty trades in a row look like from posted in advance to entry to management (even if that is a stop out) to completion. Myself, personally, I would find that as valuable as all the work you have posted to date in all these years.
If it took more than twenty to represent a full cycle, so what. You've done like 3,500 posts so far. I'm just saying what would be the most value to me, and likely to the readers. Since I only emphasize the PTA about 10%-20% in my own 'Trading Plan', and I teach that, it is clear why all the rest is so important to me. More and more of the 10%-20% has a diminishing returns aspect to me. Just my two cents.

I think the ES wants that 40's level I mentioned. We'll see, though, as this is a tough area, as shown by rat.

Thanks Jim and thank you for the offer. Please leave my latest posting in the main discussion threat, where it is. The chart seemed worthy of comment at the time I looked at it, but now, not so much. It probably points out that I need to follow price action on the 15 minute and higher timeframes more, in order to see more, as you have pointed out in your books. As usual, the Kane ABCD covered the price action beautifully.
