That's a nice make it look scary move there, and that sets it up for an explosion to the upside. Let's see if that was what that was all about. In situations like this, I always look for when they make me think a big drop is imminent...

From earlier today: 6 new 52-week highs, 303 new 52-week lows. Hmmm, nice underlying strength to the market...

Now let's see if this drop here to the ext ret area for this little bounce is it, or if it does want that 40's handle before the close.

Three ticks below the LOD and a strong snap. Probably just chop in the low end of the range for the rest of the session, but if not, it is set for 'The Big Snap' now.

The shakeout of the shakeout, and then the explosion. It was pretty clear.

Thanks Jim and thank you for the offer. Please leave my latest posting in the main discussion threat, where it is. The chart seemed worthy of comment at the time I looked at it, but now, not so much. It probably points out that I need to follow price action on the 15 minute and higher timeframes more, in order to see more, as you have pointed out in your books. As usual, the Kane ABCD covered the price action beautifully.
