What I meant was, that was a near perfect tick chart buyable dip after the first pump from that buy program, if one was looking at the long side. I wanted to make it clear for study that's what a tick buyable dip looks like.

In case it isn't clear, I find today to be a somewhat boring day, but halfway decent from a trading perspective. The type of day (so far, as I think it is going to change) where one must be very choosy and patient. Being able to sit, both waiting and on things, is a critical skill. I like movement, so I am usually bored on days like today.

My favorite type of day is a very fast moving highly volatile day with lots of very big swings.

My least favorite type of day is one alternating between the watching of paint drying and of grass growing, and throwing in a little trying to see the hour hand on a clock moving...

So, the methodology just calls for seeing if this has legs now and can go beyond yet another overlapping swing grinding chop trend. Management would take into account the nature of the overlapping swings, and adjust to more impulsive trend mode management if it goes into that. Some may have just chosen to stand aside instead of try the long. If so, study this like you took it. Create the areas, watch the reactions, looks for signs it is done and the short side may reassert (and yes, it is at an area to watch right now).

Violates the TL, checks back to the KZ, where they pick it up and send it to the backtest of the line. Now we see. Yawn. Same old, same old, over and over again.

You see, you don't have to know what it is going to do. You see what it does and adjust according to the plan. You run the machine and do the adjustments as called for. In that way it's like counting cards in blackjack. You have zero idea what cards will come up, and you don't need to. Whatever cards come up dictate responses from you according to the plan. Yet most traders (almost all of which fail) just can't break the mindset that it's all about the setup. In my opinion it's not.

Rolls off the backtest line into a KZ ABCD. Looks like a 'W3'. Now we see. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Don't be shy about posting JaLee. If you come back to the posts from 2011 when I joined the forum you will see that I couldn't do anything more than finding ABCDs in all directions, yet I decided to post charts and treated it as part of my trading education. Besides, I think we all have a slightly different specializations, rat posts CFDs mainly, you are following ES as far as I know, and I major in FX, especially the Pound. So it will work to advantage of all of us if we cover as much markets as possible.

Yes I am very sad that he is no longer going to be posting here. I can't believe the wealth of information available on this forum. I do appreciate everybody's else posts as well. I will absolutely still be reading and learning from everybody here, but since I am fairly new to the KT Methodology I'm not sure how much I can contribute to others; but I would like to still be involved.

As we could all read yesterday, Jim considered seriously quitiing the forum after what has been happening in public area for the last few weeks. Today he eventually decided to quit and asked me to inform everyone about that. Sad but true...
Every user of private area will still have access to it, but from now on we are on our own.
I am going to post as time permits and I am almost sure that rat will do the same. What about the rest? JaLee?
