Okay, no one has started the new topic, so here it is. Silver ready to hit 48, gold at another new all-time high, ES futures are up and rising, the Aussie is looking strong, CL another new high for the move, and working on that contract high. Same old, same old. 'Risk on'.

Jim, you are still up? Just look at silver and you'll know why. 49.82. 49.82! I never thought 50 would come so fast. What a move that was. Look at that chart. That's about a 7% move from the last close. I can get some sleep later. Action like this you don't see every day...

Thanks. But it was only 12:37 AM my time when I posted that. I try to take a nap before the Sunday night session so I can maybe sleep 4-5 hours that night and still be okay, then I can take another nap after the RTH if I need to. Sometimes splitting up the sleep schedule is necessary when watching futures, I think.

For the ES intraday traders in here: I think what the ES is doing right now, the volume on the 1-min (and the price action) is downright eerie. I mean, trading 15 or 17 contracts per minute, that's insane. Especially after the moves in silver, look at that dump in crude, and so on. And no one is trading. Forget 'lunch', it's all machines now. Makes me wonder what would become of the market if all the fake buying was gone, it stabilized at whatever price it did, and then, what, just did this all the time???
