Okay, no one has started the new topic, so here it is. Silver ready to hit 48, gold at another new all-time high, ES futures are up and rising, the Aussie is looking strong, CL another new high for the move, and working on that contract high. Same old, same old. 'Risk on'.

Yes, I've seen that, too, but this is a full 10%. I've never seen anything this big. I'm just wondering what kind of order one would have to have in to fill there. Market stop? I've never seen market orders all fill, this many shares and separate trades, all at one price level. Something really bizarre is going on, as usual.

jim i have been caught 7 times with my stops being hit by this crap over the last 10 years.... the large traders get their trades busted.. small traders are told to eat it... ALWAYS IN etf's.... it is to the point that i can feel it coming and pull my stops.... i have been correct twice....

Looks like the Aussie wants to take that high out after all. Maybe 1.09 isn't going to be enough for it? It was .59 just a few years ago... So, Australian goods now cost us almost double what they did just a few years back. And that doesn't account for regular inflation and currency devaluation, this is just the exchange rate hammering. Ouch.

I sent Tyler at Zero Hedge an e-mail on this and asked him to post it. Not that there is anything new in the post. Here it is:

Here's a follow up to the IWM 'flash blast'. It shows the same 292, 500K, 499.7K sequence I posted earlier. None of this explains the mechanism, which so far totally eludes me, as to how this can move to a price 10% away on a 292 share trade, and then trade almost 1.4 million shares in many trades, all after hours when liquidity dries up, and do it all without moving the price even one cent. Every trade at the same price level, not even a bid/ask differential. Very messed up.

Not much to comment today - the uptrend is doing well, maybe this small 3D will encourage bears for another couple of points correction:

now this is really weird.....
134.11 > 124.74 = 1.27 @ 13464
146.02 > 64.04 = .886 @ 13464
