tx, I don't think you see the 'context' I see on this one. The market is in a major uptrend on the higher timeframe. It comes back in, giving us some short to perhaps intermediate-term downtrending, but it then hits a prominent area this AM, and turns up vigorously. This is an area for the longer-term uptrend to perhaps reassert itself. That's my premise for switching to long-side intraday bias. I then look for short-term bullish ABCD's, which we got. The clues I presented told me the flow was still up, as the areas it would likely use at first for more downside were being ignored. Hope this helps.

Easy? If you were looking for bullish ABCD's in a downtrend but I didn't think we should be doing that. I need more than 2 months experience I think.

ES fails to roll down at first KZ, coming off much bigger bullish area. Clue. Goes to next KZ, rolls slightly, to much lower degree KZ, setting up bullish ABCD's across the board in everything I was watching (ES was an EXP). Clue. So, big area pushes up, next lower degree pushes down a little, next lower degree area pushes up. All KZ's. Patterns set up to support last KZ. ES explodes about 5.50 points straight up like a rocketship. Cah-ching. 'Too easy'.

Geo made the big time. Check out his pic on Joed's blog. Not that I have to post this, everyone here reads Joed's blog minute by minute anyway. He looks about the same as the one pic I have seen of him, but a little older. And, he's at a fishin' hole, so that's the same as the other pic. I even wonder myself why I am willing to spend any time at a computer when I live in a place that looks a lot like that pic...

I frequently go 2-3 weeks without even going out on the front step. Seriously. And I used to be a 100% outdoors person.

what the heck does it mean when the bid is higher than the ask?

Market is crossed. More likely means an error in your quotes than that it is actually crossed, although the market does cross frequently throughout any given day.

Figured out the discrepancy between our SLB D points. Irrelevant now with today's action. But I was looking at B as being at 61.8 and used Gartley. You saw it as 68.5 and used Kane. B is about half-way between the two.
Today it looks more like a flat ABCD.

I was looking to see if we would get a turn around 85.98 for a c in a possible kane pattern with a d that would then land up at the area I was mentioning earlier, where xa 95.29 - 83.60 = 1.46 @ 100.67 and bc 91.16 - ~85.98 = 2.618 at 99.54 - for a powerful short. that's out....

He looks like one of my hiking buddies in the summertime when I leave the 110 degree TX weather.
