I sure wish someone else would step up and start these weekly topics...

Phew, took them long enough. First they had to play around with that little ABCD area. All is as expected now.

Notice the checkback not only at the expected short-term 'W3' area, but also this forms a potential bigger bearish EXP ABCD there. I'd be surprised if that sent it down to any extent, but it is worth watching. After all, next step is Sunday night GLOBEX/Monday, and we know how that usually goes.

Okay, gimme one more leg up into the close, and then maybe a big pop in the after-cash.

Okay, here's a chart showing some of my posts, marked at the times, as best as I could do it, when I posted them. Also check out the post I made at 15:53:40. I couldn't find the room to squeeze that one on the chart. Everything I mentioned was based on the methodology. Look at some of the other posts, like the one about the lines coming in. Look at that EXP ABCD. Study the higher timeframes and see why I thought this may go up (other than it was Friday close and time to prep for Sunday night GLOBEX/Monday).
No matter how many cool areas lie below, or how much I want this to sell, 'they' want it up, and the defense of the GZ was a clear signal. Note my post before I started this sequence, about rigorously defending the LOD via the GZ. It wasn't my first mention of that. Clues. Technical factors. The methodology. What roofer likes to call 'the tools'. Now, do some work. Study what led up to what I have shown here.

A little more follow up. Here are some of the posts I made preceding what I showed in the last chart, for some 'context' (yet another use of the word 'context'). Note the area I posted at 14:50. The high was 41.25!

But the defense of the GZ, on a Friday afternoon, is not a good sign for more downside. It doesn't negate that premise, but it isn't a good sign.

Nothing ever seems to change with these manipulators...
Posted-02/10/2012 : 14:50:30
If they get this moving to the upside I'm watching 41.50-42.75, give or take, as my first level.
Posted-02/10/2012 : 14:58:00
It really acts like it could sell into the last hour. That has me wondering if they are trying to make it look that way as a trap...

Okay, I can't do any more for everyone than that. I don't mean I can't do any more posts, I mean in this venue, that is the best I can provide as far as trying to direct one's eye to the right things, at the right time, and guide the areas for study. I know my mentor students will likely benefit the most from this approach, but that's just the nature of the game. The more knowledge you have the better able you might be to follow the work. Sorry. Got to pay your dues one way or another. I feel like I've paid mine, and then some. Just keep pluggin' away.

As a little aside, the SPY, in the aftermarket, is implying another 3 points in the ES, give or take, at its high there, from the ES close. Interesting, huh? I guess we are ready for that gap up and go on Sunday night. Long live the 'bulls#%&' market.

Post like this has incredible value for my learning process. Thank you Jim.
I've got many questions how to act in few areas which are shown on the chart and I found are critical in early stage of trade, but I know you can't answer it on the forum. I have ideas and experiment with it and I'm very interested in opinion about it.
