I'll start it off again this week, early. I'm going to make a few posts regarding sentiment and other such things as I feel we are getting close. It's either already done, or it has to have that final, insane, suck every last one in blow off move. I'd hate to think that move carries all the way to 2000, but it may.
Many are watching the 1750-75 area and areas near that, so I think the odds of that being it are very slim (you never know, though, especially if they say that area will only check it back a little, or not at all, and then they post higher levels, which is what I suspect they will do...).
I wish it could be here, but I just don't see it. Also keep in kind, the debt ceiling is coming up again this fall, so maybe that's the phony catalyst. I just don't know. Anyway, some sentiment to ponder coming up.

Crude 109.32. Like I was saying... Volume is now shifting to Sept basis (OI shifted awhile back), and that's trading slightly lower. But 'it's there'. Now we see. Notice the violence of the correction. Not the total size, as others on the way up have been larger, I mean the swings within the correction and such.

GOOG up over 44 off the earnings low yesterday. They love their GOOG. Unless the market craters I suspect it will be at new all-time highs again in short order.

No fake down, just up? That seems unlikely. Fake up, then down, then the real up a bit later, at the more usual time? Am I overthinking it? What else is there to do when it just sits for hours on end...

So it heads back down to test the breakout line to the tick, and then pops up. But is it really going anywhere this time?

So, I'm bored out of my mind, over reading articles about this mess we are in (something I shouldn't do because I doubt all that stress helps my health situation), and I've got one of my oldies stations on in the background, and a song comes on that seems to fit the theme. I know this isn't what they were writing about back in the 80's, it just fits what I was reading.
From Pop Goes the World by Men Without Hats:
Johnny played guitar, Jenny played bass,
Name of the band is The Human Race.
Everybody tell me have you heard? Pop Goes The World.
...Pop Goes The World....
Pop Goes The World....
Pop!
Nah, that's not apropos to what I'm reading, not at all...
